[Kimber Beck]

A lot just happened around Kimber, who was distracted by the leaves the second boy offered up, saying that they would give you a great body high.

"The roof... yea. Sure," she mumbled when someone mentioned that it would be the best option. At the mention of an alliance Kimber shook her head a little to focus back to the conversation.

"An alliance? Uhm... well..." the question caught her off guard a bit. She barely knew these two girls. "Yea. Okay," she finally said, with a bit of uncertainty.

"Excellent!" Millie said excitedly, "now we just have to wait for Mallory to weigh in and we can go enjoy our night!"

Millie turned to look at Mallory expectantly before addressing Kimber once more, "By the way. If my guts right I feel like we're going to get along great Kimber. But I mean you don't really know me. Have any questions?"

"Um, sure, the roof is okay I guess...." Mallory trailed off, her following Jaden. She shook her head, trying to regain some sort of concentration.

What's wrong with me today?

"What were people saying about an alliance?"

Noticing Mallory start to head to the roof in a bit of a daze she turned to Kimber, "looks like we're going to the roof. Come on. We can talk while we walk."

As they were leaving the room at last Millie made a point of saying to Mallory, "Oh and let me know about your feelings of joining me in an alliance. If I'm going to have to head out in to that arena I'd rather do it next to someone I know us more interested in surviving than killing. Besides," she said leaving the room alongside the two girls, "I've felt the most comfortable since I've gotten here since I've met you two and Kimber has already agreed."

She smiled, "why not just stick together right?" "Now," she said shutting the greenhouse door behind them, "lets have some fun!"

Kimber lags behind the other two so hopefully they wouldn't notice her grabbing the leaves David set down. She popped them into her mouth before leaving the green house.

Natalya finds herself in a new environment surrounded by plants she had never seen before. She scanned the perimeter looking for Millie. She hoped she would come. She was not the most people friendly and was glad she was willing to meet. "I know you are looking for alliance members who just want to stay alive. I don't know if I can help you, but I think I would like to try."

Millie ran into the room and was immediately greeted by Natalya. "I'm so sorry I'm late," she said out of breath, "it seems like everyone wants to talk to me today."

"Ok," she said looking Natalya in the eyes, "I have one question for you."

"What do you want the outcome of these games to be once it starts?" Millie smiled, "Be sure to answer honestly now ok?"

"At first I wanted to win as revenge against the capital, but now...I don't know...I think I just don't want to feel like a pawn in their game. My goal is just to play. If that means helping you, then I can do that."

[Millie Cartwright]

"Hm," she mused to herself, "I like the way you think. I mean there are still some finer points to my plan that differ from yours." She took a few steps to the left, "and you may think I'm crazy."

Millie turned back to face Natalya, "so you see mutual trust is very important to our group." She smiled at her, "It's not that I don't trust you. On the contrary I think you're exactly who I'm looking for but I will have to bring word of you back to my alliance and I'll let you know as soon as I can."

"And if I can't help you," she said softly, "I do have a friend who is looking for more traditional allies." She stepped back and looked her over, "you know. The stabby killy kind. If I can't help you I want to make sure you're not in this alone. No one should be without help ya know?"

Millie started to leave the room, "I'll find you as soon as I know. I promise!"
