Thomas saw the hospital in the distance and decided to sprint for the remainder of her trek. "I made it!" He shouted excitedly. He then noticed a number of tributes he hadn't seen since the Capitol. He primarily recognize Juilian. "My man!" He said to the young boy, offering a fist to bump. He then turned to the others, "For those who haven't met me, I'm Thomas."

Cal comes around the corner, emerging from the large medical complex. He turns to Eloise, his eyebrows raised. "I'd imagine a lot of them had evacuated when word of the rebellion came. Perhaps there's a few who remained in order to aid any citizens in need." He moved closer to Eloise, dropping his voice to a whisper.
"Trying not to let on we came together, just in case. Did you receive any notification or extra directions/hints upon arriving at the Hospital?" He turns to Thomas, extending a hand. "Name's Cal, I don't believe we've met. Any luck finding some shelter in all this chaos?"

"Alright, I'm going to look inside. Hopefully there's someone around still. If you fine gentlemen care to escort me I'd be totally okay with it" Eloise gave a quick wink to her new found neighbors as she headed in to see if there was any medical personnel at the hospital. I'll play along. No need to associate unless it gets bad. Maybe morphling would help him? I'm hoping i can find some as well as hack. We may need control of it to get the doctors help.

Cal grinned, shaking his head at her assertive nature. "I like a lady in charge, lead the way." He followed into the facility, keeping an eye open for people and items of interest. He also noted the security consoles were generating Peacekeeper signals. Taking a deep breath, he continues to follow. OOC: if you had whispered, I couldn't see it. Either way, I'm following your lead. Maybe the baby needs a morphling shot?

As he walked through the halls of the hospital, Cal finds scattered charts, discarded food trays and empty stock rooms. It looked like most of the supplies were picked clean in the initial rush to evacuate. Stumbling across a new wing, he found something that caught his eye. "Eloise, was it? Have a look over here." He lead her to a pediatric section, brightly covered decorations along the walls, with displays and equipment meant for smaller people. He walks over to her, gesturing to the area.
"Listen, I said I would escort you to finish your work, but we need to coordinate. This hospital is huge and we have no idea what Aramis needs. Also..."
Cal takes a seat next to her, stress being shown visible across his face.
"Eloise, where exactly do we stand? Wren explained how back at the Market, you were angry that he would try and find me, a Peacekeeper, rather than stick around with you. Ever since we met up with Wren at the Watchtower, we haven't really spoken directly. I know you had doubts over my intentions, and you haven't made any indication that you've changed your mind. Just... please take a few minutes, talk to me. Otherwise, I feel like I've marched to the far side of the Capital to be taken out to pasture."

Eloise was glad to have people with her, regardless of how they aligned. Wandering about a dark abandoned hospital alone is not something she planned on doing. She could almost hear the soft crying of an infant nearby.
As she walked through the halls. She found a fallen plaquard with the word 'out' on it. She picked it up and smirked. Gwen would love this...but then again, that was days ago. A lot had changed since then. She had seen people do things. Good or bad, opinions might change. She knew she wasnt the same child who tried to run from the peacekeepers when her name was called at the reaping. As she continued to wander, she wondered who she'd be when this was all over.

Cal sighed, a little disappointed in the contents of the wing explored, but still hopeful of a positive outcome from all this. He double checked his food pouch, empty after last night's dinner. He shook his head, priorities come first. " Alright, I'm going to do a lot of scavenging. I'll attempt twice for the Morphing and once for food. Could you search for the Morphing and get a hack in? We may as well try and secure this point while we're here."

"We had some friends moving through the Armory and Supply Depot. Did you run into Demitri or Holly during your travels?"

It seemed the tributes were talking about doctors or something. He didn't know them and he never talked to them. All of his feelings and past experiences told him to not trust them. But, Thomas was here and he seemed to trust them, so Julian decided to as well.
"Hi, I'm Julian."

"Hey Julian! I'm really glad to see you! It's been almost a week. How are you doing?" OOC: Finally off Mobile.
To be brief, I hacked, rolled for morphling and food. I think only the hack will be successful. I think we may need to control the hospital in order to get Aramis treatment. I also don't know where we should go from here or if you had an arrangement to meet with Cal on any day or a specific time.
In terms of where we stand. I knew that Wren wanted to see you and was willing to leave me alone at the Market to be with you, Sharlot and Val, three confirmed Peacekeepers. Then he got paranoid and started to question my allegiance. It wasn't a good departure and I was worried about him. I also knew you had slept with Gwen. So on paper, it looked like you had made your way around the tributes and were playing him.
You're here with me Cal, and you and Wren took care of the Peacekeeper. Whether you did it for me or not, I'm grateful. You have my allegiance, but remember.....hell hath no furry like a woman scorned.

He listened as Eloise describe the peacekeeper walking around the watch tower. "I feel ya on that. I just got attacked last night.." He pulled up his shirt to reveal deep bruises on his chest. "That's why I came here. I'm just glad that they were unarmed!"

He then replied to Julian. "I agree, let's try to stick together while we can. This place seems safe so far... Do you think you'll stay or move along? How long have you been here?"

Post by Cal Mensen on Jan 4, 2016 3:44:47 GMT -6
Cal watched Julian and Thomas's reunion, can't help but smile. It took them so long to find one another, I'm glad they both survived for this.Nice job on the hack, it looks like we're keeping the rebel cause moving compared to the other points. I just wish I had been more help here.
Your logic makes sense, and I'm sorry it's caused you this much stress. Yes, I did find something with both Wren and Gwen, it had happened at the same time during training. They're the reason I'm fighting for the rebels though. If peacekeepers win, they would both die, and they'll live if the rebellion is a success. Either way, I'm as good as dead, at least this way they'll live.
I fought that Peacekeeper to keep you two safe. Wren would kill me for saying this, but I'd have done the same here if there was one lurking about. You're part of the Accord and Wren cares about you, so your safety was my priority. If you ever feel I'm not acting in the Accord's interest or hurting Wren, I expect nothing less than your full wrath.
So plans... We found a nurse! She's all yours, hope Aramis receives the help he needs. As for tomorrow, our best chance to regroup is back at the Watchtower. If all goes well at the Market, we'll find Wren and coordinate the remainder of these days.
In the meantime, I'm officially out of food. Any chance you can spare me one for today?

Eloise walked through the hospital. She was so glad to find a nurse. There was nothing more she could do here for baby Aramis but hope. As she walked, it dawned on her that there were so many sick people here, so many dead and dying. She was just able to get a glimpse of a red-headed girl as they covered her in red sheets. Eloise couldn't remember her name, but vaguely remembered her face. She would have to check with Wren, but Eloise was pretty sure she was his district mate. As she continued to wander Eloise found herself back with her new acquaintances. "Sorry to be sneaky, but without knowing you gentlemen, I didn't know how you would react to a girl doting on a baby in a war zone. I just couldn't leave him out all alone and figured this would be the best place for him. I've spent most of my time in the market and at the watch tower. The market has a lot of food. Not knowing your allegiance, and just knowing that you haven't attacked me yet, I wouldn't advise going there. I imagine at this point it's a bloodbath. Do you guys know much about what's been happening the past few days? We haven't gotten any news from the Supply Depot or Armory." They didn't hack and they hadn't successfully spied on us at all. I think they're here just to get supplies. Of course you can have some of my food, but should we leave here today? There's four of us here now. Everyone will be heading for the Market. We can get food and morphling here and then head to the watch tower if we wait another day. I'm all for whatever you decide though.

Thomas looked at the small infant. "Don't worry, I love kids- reminds me of my little sister, not too long ago. But could I ask where you found this baby? Surely it's not yours?"
"I have been to both of those locations. The supply depot is where I was attacked.... There is a turn cloak there. Someone who isn't who she said she was. And another. The armory was safe when j was there, but there was talk of going to blows."

Cal steps up at Thomas's description of the turn coat and aggressors. His eyes are focused, his face all business.
"Would this turn-coat be Sharlot? She was an original member of our alliance, but she confided in me her identity before training was finished. Day 1 we had met at the Watchtower when I confirmed her identity. Since then she made a beeline for the Hospital, followed by the Supply Depot, out of the viewing range of the Watchtower's sight. If you can confirm, it sounds like she's been leaving disruption in her wake. She has to be stopped."
OOC: Updated with Thomas's reply
IC:
His pupils narrow at Thomas's words.
"Thank you for confirming what I suspected. There was another from the Watchtower that had moved with her the same day to the Hospital. His name is Deo, and we've confirmed that he is also a peacekeeper."
His expression softens.
"Do you have any questions for us?"

He points to the computer displays throughout the Hospital, brightly shining the rebel signal.
