OOC (aka out of character): saw you request me in the last topic and I ended up leaving. Figured this would be more direct and easier for you William.
IC (In Character): Derrin had heard that William had been looking for him and as such he decided that he would address this thing more forwardly than the others. He did not want to dabble around and as such he purposefully went straight to the District Four room and knocked on the door. He did it a little roughly because sometimes it was hard to hear throughout this place.
He stood in his workout pants but once again without a shirt. After knocking he said, “Oooy…William, it’s Derrin from District six, you said you had more shirts than you needed and I was fresh out currently. Mind handing one over?”
It was the only logical way he figured he could approach the boy from district four without drawing too much attention. The worst issue would be if their mentor or girl from district four answered the door. Awkward moments would be flowing around everywhere.
To appear non-threatening he stood straight and strong and leaned slightly against the back wall across from the door with his arms crossed. He looked serious for the moment but knew once the door opened he would want to be cheerful and friendly.

"What did you want" a small and lithe voice asks from inside. "Williams not here!" The door opens fractionally and a grey shirt flies out towards Derrin. "Nah, just messing with ya." He looks up and down the down the hall and proceeds, "you alone?"

Derrin heard a weird voice say that William was not there and Derrin looked genuinely confused. The door opened rather quickly and shirt launched out of the room. Derrin dodged it as if it was a spear and actually rolled. Then he blushed a little and shook his head to pick it up. “Everyone just loves throwing things at me recently.”
William said he was just messing with him and then looked around the hallway and then asked if Derrin was alone. Derrin smiled at him and said, “So far I travel solo considering nothing usual lethal will come out at the moment. I heard you will looking to speak with me and Dolan.”
It was true that he had left that area rather quickly and then he said, “Sorry I was in a hurry to get back and meet with Kimber and my Mentor. What was on your mind?”
He looked a little concerned but also decided that he should slip the shirt on. Figured if anyone came by he should at least pretend he was here more so for the shirt than anything else.

"Well I wanted to discuss training, but it seems like you already have what you want figured out. I don't know lemme know if you want to work together next time. I think I'll hit the pool."

Derrin was a little shocked by what the boy said. Well he had no idea someone wanted to train with him. He nodded and then simply said, “O…okay yea, I have no issues training with anyone. Just let me know what you are thinking about training.”
With that Derrin began walking down the hallway and then said, “Thanks for the Shirt by the way.” He waved back and then decided he would head back to his room.

William watched as derrin turned and left. As he turns to enter the room he double-takes and things to himself, "I didnt think he'd actually take my shirt.."

Alys was walking through the halls when she saw William standing outside his room. She had admired his ability in the pool and was hoping she could pick up some tips.
"Hi." She managed. "You were great the other day in that pool. I wish I could swim like that! Have you considered what you will train for on the second training day? I'm looking for someone to train with."

"As it happens, I'm going to be showing off my swimming. Only thing is, I'm not sure if we are allowed to work in groups of more than two, and I've been approached by several people about it.." he said grievously. "It's actually getting rather irksome and is really messing up my strategics. Come by the pool the day of and I'll have an answer for you bright and early, but try and find something else as a backup.
He wish he could promise more than that, it wasn't his desire to see anyone at these games struggle, no one. "It goes against everything I stand for,' he told himself, "and I can't bring himself to deprive this little girl of the skills that might just save her life, but I also can't make her a promise I might not be able to keep." What a Gordian knot...

"Thank you, William. I will come by. The rules are so harsh, I will see you bright and early, but I'll be sure to have a back up."
She paused, then continued.
"Even if it doesn't work out, I hope we can get to know each other before the games start. I know you've been talking a lot with my district mate Dolan. We both think you're a nice guy. I have skills that are complementary to the ones you've mentioned. Let me know if you're interested."
