Sharlot Cuprick DID YOU GIVE WALLACE THE PASSWORD I swear to the gods of Panem... [whispered] Eloise, I think we've been betrayed by Sharlot. She passed Wallace a password and announced it's not her room...I also have a feeling Holly is telling Gwen about us, and that they're talking about us in the Docks. Their posts have increased since I fed a hint of what we were thinking. You can meet me in my room any time. You have the password. It's just you, me, and Cal that have it. This whole thing is making me paranoid and I'm not even sure about Millie anymore.

"Let's not jump to conclusions. We've all been trying to talk to other tributes and see if alliances could be built. Let's talk it out before we let peacekeepers tear this apart piece by piece." Let her explain herself, but I've worried about her for a while. I have concerns about Cal being a peacekeeper but at this point we need him. If you haven't already decided, make sure you sharpen your weapons (+1 attack). I've been working on my field cooking. We may have to fight our way out of the the Cornucopia.

True. Sharlot, please just post here and tell us what's up. I don't do well with quiet shady things. Sorry. Use your tablet they gave you. Or give me a simple "thumbs up" if you're with us. I'm +2 spy, +2 attack, +1 tactics already. I'm thinking I might max on tactics with my last one. Leave scavenge for you. I'm pretty sure I can trust you. At this point, you & Cal are all I can count on so worse case, I go at it alone. I'm hoping to use attack for hunting for food if I need to. Cal and I are...somewhat intimate. Not sure how that happened, but it seems it's going there. I won't let it affect this. But I do trust him. And he seems to relate to you, which is good. The accord and its ideals are first. As I've said, I'm okay being somewhat of a martyr if that's what it takes. At this point, I'm putting everything into the accord. Holly indicated she might be interested, now Gwen's asking me about an "accord" and claiming she figured it out on her own via Millie's past conversations with Vester...How big is TOO big? Who can we trust? Do we just let anyone interested know the accord is back, and hope it turns out for the best?

"Sure I'll join you in your room," Millie said hopping up from the floor, "The most important thing is that you stick together tomorrow."
"Oh and," she added, "try not to run into the cornucopia. It just ends badly..."
Millie smiled, "Do your best to survive and only kill to defend your life as a last resort. IF I don't get back to you tonight just wait for my signal once you get in the arena. I'll find a way to get you out of there and bring this down."

With a wide slide of the door, Cal slowly walks in. He looks around the room, noting anyone still present. His eyes are focused, his expression neutral.
"Well... I was going to offer my trump card as a gift of acceptance, but I'm afraid you've already received it."
He steps forward, taking a deep breath.
"I am a peacekeeper, or I was one. Since all this started, I haven't really found much difference between being one or not. We were all going to fight for our lives in there, didn't see how identify factored in. But then came the accord, the best chance for the most people to live. Then it mattered."
Cal kneels, an arm folded over his knee. He stares at the ground.
"I've lived... so much in these last few days. Grown close to a few. I don't want any of them to die, and I'm willing to do what it takes to ensure they live."
He raises his head up, meeting the eyes of all those present.
"I realize trust is earned. I don't know how else to do it at this point. Please, let me help. If you'll have me, say so. If not, I'll do what I can from the outside. I hope whatever you plan to do works."
He bows his head, awaiting his fate.

Wren walked behind Cal and put his hand on Cal's shoulder.
"I say yes." He anxiously looked around the room for more responses.

"I'll have some questions. But okay." We need to keep all strategy to a whisper and possibly in the 7 hotel room. (Wren, Cal, Millie)

Sharlot entered the room to Wren shouting at her. She froze and stared at him in shock. She wrote on the board.
“Wallace had the best interview out of everyone. He’s smart and he’s going to be a big contributor in the Games. We need people that are going to put in the effort and try their best. There’s no more reason to distrust him than anyone else in this room. If you can’t see that, you’re an idiot!”
She threw down the chalk. But then picked it up again to add, "And welcome, Cal." She attempted to give him a half smile despite her flustered state.

Cal turns his head up to read her texts. With the last text she writes, he gives her a small smile.
"Thank you for the chance. I'd like to give you and Wallace the same consideration, but I'll need Millie's acceptance first."
He returns his head down, starting to lose the feeling in his knees.

Eloise took a deep breath. "I think we need to all calm down. Everyone get some sleep. We should have enough time to talk strategy later. Besides, that we have no idea what we're up against yet, so we'll have to react anyways."

"Well said."
Cal stretches out his legs, taking a seat against the wall.
"I'm just going wait her for Millie; we haven't been introduced and this is her brainchild. I leave the final say to her."
He nods his head against the wall, resting his eyes. It's been a long day.

Wren sat in the chair at the desk, near Cal. He felt bad for shouting. It had been a desperate moment. "Sharlot, I'm sorry. Like I said in the garden, I just lost it. Everything was spinning. I felt really great after talking to Cal after interviews, and then everything went to shit-or seemed to, anyway. I guess the reality of it all is sinking in. This is huge. The weight of this situation was crushing me a bit. But I guess it's not all on my shoulders. We're splitting the responsibility. So...I trust you. And I trust your instincts. If you think Wallace will help us, we can let him in if you haven't already."
"And since Cal's confessed, I think it's only fair the rest of us do the same. We can whisper them if we think anyone's here that shouldn't be." (Should be: Wren, Eloise, Millie, Sharlot, Cal...is Wallace here?)
"And I want Wallace to answer the questions, if he has time. I want everyone to answer number 8. It's only fair, to Cal...I'm not a peacekeeper. I'm just a regular, stressed out kid." Wren glanced down at Cal, who seemed to fear the worst as he waited for Millie's response. Wren patted the back of his head in a hopeful manner.
1. What is more important to you- winning or surviving?
2. Do you believe that the primrose/phoenix accord can finish the games with its mission intact and mutual survival until the end?
3. Which is more important at the cornucopia? Getting supplies, escaping together safely, or thinking the heard?
4. Do you think we should align ourselves with any other alliances and who?
5. Do you trust the original three members? -Wren, Sharlot, Eloise 6. What do you think we need to be successful? (Talents, strategies, items, etc)
7. Anyone else you want to join us? Anyone you feel would help our cause? Anyone you know would hurt our cause? Mention any names and your feelings about them.
8. What's your story? Peacekeeper or tribute?

Tribute. (OOC: other answers on page 2).
I may still try and bring Holly around. There might still be time to bring this group to a solid 6. A quarter of the game. But is there anyone else we want or have been trying to get?

I'd be open to Gwen. Not sure about Val. But-can they do much damage from the inside? I mean, they know our deal is attack-attack back. I wish more people were around. Some seem interesting, but aren't around much.

"I don't know...There's just too much going on. Part of me thinks that those who haven't been around are just peacekeepers. Or maybe they're just the smart ones who have decided its safer to be unknown. I think some of the ladies we've mentioned maybe game-time decisions. Like when the slaughter begins, we'll know where they fall."
