Cal begins to clear the tables of abandoned plates, glasses and napkins. There's a fridge or two towards the back, even a little neon lighting arcing over the room. Removing a deck of cards from his pocket, he begins to shuffle the deck, having a seat across from the doorway.

Holly wandered over to the fridge and was thrilled to find a handful of drinks left behind by the former workers. She flopped onto a couch against the wall. Looks like a break room. She sighed as she settled in. "Don't lie, Cal. You're just sad you never got to be in our little booze crew." Holly cracked one of the mystery bottles open.
"Bottom's up!" Immediately after taking a swig Holly was overtaken by a yawn that seemed to travel through her entire body.
A party... how nice... maybe, I'll just close my eyes for a moment...
Holly mumbled softly just before losing consciousness, "Can anyone find out if Lartius actually attacked? I wasn't sure..."
"As long as you leave those mystery drinks be, I think you'll be just fine."
He looks across the table to both opponents. Well, there's always...
"Blackjack! Simple to play, quick to resolve, and it's easy to add more people. Unless you guys object, I'll start dealing."
OOC: If you're in, start by making a roll=1d11 to reveal your top card. I'll then whisper you your hidden card, you can choose to hit from there. Standard rules, over 21 busts, no need to split or double down.
"I've got one pistol shot remaining, and that's a guaranteed 1 damage. I can attempt my unarmed attacks now, or wait to receive the baton. How many actions do you have left, Gwen?"

Gwen smiled at Holly passed out on the couch before deciding to go grab the bottle from her. "Welcome to the game, Deo," she winked at him as she sat down, "you don't know what you got yourself into I'm afraid."
"I have two actions left. After tomorrow I will need to get food supplies so I can spare both those actions to attack, or use one to get the jabberjay. Might be useful when we split up again."

Gwen took her cards, "Oh, the lives we lead in District 12. Not as privileged as yours in District 2, I assume. Fall in with the wrong people, you tend to do the wrong things. Build a tolerance for it after a while." Gwen takes a swig of the bottle.

Gwen smiled at Val's approach. She had been quiet all day. "Fancy a swig?" she said as she held out the bottle.
Gwen patted the seat beside her, "I was wondering if you were worried about that. Look, I attacked the Peacekeeper. I was asking for it. I knew the risks. It's not that bad, really. It was crazy yesterday. We were fighting someone we thought was a friend and ended up losing another. We have to focus on what's going on now. Be present," Gwen smiled at Val reassuringly as she took her hand.
OOC: May as well deal yourself your hidden card, just keep me in the loop with what you deal.
"By all means Sydney, jump on in. I believe Deo hit."
"Catching you up Sydney, I have a bullet for Deo, Val could use her's but is looking to maybe save ammo. If we have Lartius's baton, we can make boosted attacks on him and conserve ammo. How many arrows are you looking to commit to this?"

"Oh man, I wish I hadn't left my cigarettes in the hotel room but there was a lot moving around when we left, they sort of...fell by the wayside. Good way to unwind," she commented as she took her hidden card.
"As far arrows go, I have three to use. I can use...whatever turns out to be necessary as long as I don't have to worry about being, you know, unprotected later on." She checked her hidden card before continuing in a whisper to Cal.
"I do have an energy pill to strike a fourth time or get food...get the baton, spy, whatever."
Cal Mensen: I believe you edit the post. You can either rewhisper to everyone (too much work), or copy and paste the whispers into public text. I'd imagine you'd want to give some sort of symbol or notation that they were once whispers.

Cal Mensen: Same here, part of me wants to allocate some time aside to building a new one in a different setting. It'd be easier to devote time to if there's a shard interest.
