Crying

[Vester Lombard]

You hear a familiar crying sound coming from down the hall. You overhear doctors saying, "The supplies still haven't come in. At this point we may have to start surgery, which would be extremely dangerous for the baby."

[Wren Hartwood]

Wren heard a strange noise from down the hall during his unexpected game of pool at the hospital. He turned to Reese Oberron .

"Does that sound like crying to you? I think maybe you should go check that out, and bring that vial...Eloise Sugarglider wake up! Do you want to go with her, since you're the one that found the baby?"

[Wren Hartwood]

With no sign of Reese or Eloise yet, Wren took a quick trip down the hall and found some doctors huddling together over a table.

"Um. Ex...excuse me. Hi. I didn't think anyone was still working in here. We have a couple of girls that I think could help you out with that baby. One has blue-green hair, and she has a vial of some liquid that she was hoping might be helpful. If you could hold off on surgery or anything too dangerous for just a little longer, I'm sure she'll come find you soon. The little redhead girl found the baby, so she should be able to answer any questions you have."

He looked at the doctors. "I wish I could help more, but I've only just started looking for healing supplies, myself. My friends and I are injured, so that's what brought us over here." He wanted to ask about extra morphling that might be hiding somewhere in a secret stash, but he knew his first priority should be helping Aramis.

Before heading back to his game, he added, "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!"

[Reese Oberron]

Reese rushed in, "Hey! What is it that you need? I might have something..." She unwraps the bundle containing the vial of "Antidote," "What can you tell me about this? Could it be used to help save the baby?"

[Vester Lombard]

The doctors inspect the vial.

"W-Where did you get this?" the doctor stammered, "We thought we would have to wait until this whole skirmish settled down to get any more. This is incredible! You've saved a life today, ma'am."

The doctors hustle back to administer the antidote to Aramis.

Reese gains 30 EXP for fulfilling a quest!

[Eloise Sugarglider]

Eloise ran up to Reese and wrapper her arms around her squealing.

"Reese thank you so much! It took me days to get Aramis here only to find out that they couldn't save him. This means so much to me!"

Eloise jumped up and down and then abruptly stopped. "Sorry, I forget what's going on sometimes...but you know, silver linings."

[Cal Mensen]

Cal popped in hearing the good news. He wraps both Reese and Eloise in a hug, beaming at what they accomplished.

"He's going to be okay, thanks to you two. Eloise, I'm glad you're back and safe. Reese, I'm glad you came to the Hospital. If you're not comfortable with hugs, I can stop."

He gives Eloise a slight whisper.
"If you wanted to talk about Sharlot, I'm all ears. I'm a bit worried about her wandering out there."

[Reese Oberron]

Reese returned the hug, "Just makes me even more happy that we found eachother when we did. Glad to see the child is okay." She could tell Eloise really had a lot wrapped up in this, "I almost feel foolish saying this, but makes me feel like everything is gonna work out somehow."
