Cal begins to clear the tables of abandoned plates, glasses and napkins. There's a fridge or two towards the back, even a little neon lighting arcing over the room. Removing a deck of cards from his pocket, he begins to shuffle the deck, having a seat across from the doorway.
"Got to make up for missing the Tribute feast."

Gwen walks in, "So, willing to lose again, are we?" She grinned and sat down, "I'll have to think of better stakes this time."

Holly wandered over to the fridge and was thrilled to find a handful of drinks left behind by the former workers. She flopped onto a couch against the wall. Looks like a break room. She sighed as she settled in. "Don't lie, Cal. You're just sad you never got to be in our little booze crew." Holly cracked one of the mystery bottles open. "Bottom's up!" Immediately after taking a swig Holly was overtaken by a yawn that seemed to travel through her entire body. A party... how nice... maybe, I'll just close my eyes for a moment...Holly mumbled softly just before losing consciousness, "Can anyone find out if Lartius actually attacked? I wasn't sure..."

Cal's grin matches Gwen, he hadn't forgotten about Day 1. "Agreed, we'll need higher stakes this late in the game. Guess we'll have to get creative." He looks over at Holly, giving her a lot of credit for taking on one of those mystery drinks. He sighs, a bit disappointed she won't be joining in the game. He whispers back to Holly's murmur.
"I'll coordinate with him. Take it easy for a while."
OOC: Sleep well!
"We should probably wait for a few more before we settle on a game, and stakes for that matter."

"So, what's this game?" said Deo walking into the room. He spotted Holly passed out on the couch, before grabbing a chair. "Whoa, what did I get myself into. Am I going end up like her?"

Cal smiles, shakes his head. "As long as you leave those mystery drinks be, I think you'll be just fine." He looks across the table to both opponents. Well, there's always... "Blackjack! Simple to play, quick to resolve, and it's easy to add more people. Unless you guys object, I'll start dealing." OOC: If you're in, start by making a roll=1d11 to reveal your top card. I'll then whisper you your hidden card, you can choose to hit from there. Standard rules, over 21 busts, no need to split or double down. "I've got one pistol shot remaining, and that's a guaranteed 1 damage. I can attempt my unarmed attacks now, or wait to receive the baton. How many actions do you have left, Gwen?"

Gwen smiled at Holly passed out on the couch before deciding to go grab the bottle from her. "Welcome to the game, Deo," she winked at him as she sat down, "you don't know what you got yourself into I'm afraid." "I have two actions left. After tomorrow I will need to get food supplies so I can spare both those actions to attack, or use one to get the jabberjay. Might be useful when we split up again."

Gwen took her cards, "Oh, the lives we lead in District 12. Not as privileged as yours in District 2, I assume. Fall in with the wrong people, you tend to do the wrong things. Build a tolerance for it after a while." Gwen takes a swig of the bottle.

Valeria eyed one of the "Mystery Bottles". It seemed to be a rather odd color of blue and she could even swear it was a bit...sparkly?! Her eyes opened wide, "Guys...its the sparkly stuff from the banquet" She grinned, "I never thought I'd be so happy to see such a girly liquor." "So," Val said trying to find a space to occupy, "what are we wagering this time?" OOC: I still have all of my actions left so let me know if you need me to shoot someone. I'd rather just punch em if we can spare to save this bullet for a riskier situation. Val made her way to Gwen's side. She was done being all coy and worried. Either she had burned a bridge or she hadn't and she didn't have time to call in the county bridge inspector.
"So is this spot taken," she asked with a slight smile motioning to Gwen's basic vicinity.
Her smile faltered for half a second but she pasted it right back on, "I'm really sorry I got you...shot."

Gwen smiled at Val's approach. She had been quiet all day. "Fancy a swig?" she said as she held out the bottle. Gwen patted the seat beside her, "I was wondering if you were worried about that. Look, I attacked the Peacekeeper. I was asking for it. I knew the risks. It's not that bad, really. It was crazy yesterday. We were fighting someone we thought was a friend and ended up losing another. We have to focus on what's going on now. Be present," Gwen smiled at Val reassuringly as she took her hand.

"If we can receive Lartius's baton, we can have improved attacks and save ammo. I've already commited my bullet, so that's seven more damage to deal out." 1d11

OOC: May as well deal yourself your hidden card, just keep me in the loop with what you deal. IC: "By all means Sydney, jump on in. I believe Deo hit." ThoIjm4a1d11"Catching you up Sydney, I have a bullet for Deo, Val could use her's but is looking to maybe save ammo. If we have Lartius's baton, we can make boosted attacks on him and conserve ammo. Val plopped down next to Gwen, taking both her hand a swig from the offered bottle, "You know you don't have to get me drunk right?" she grinned.
I guess I have to hit too she said frowning at her rather low card.
((OOC EDIT: Oh I just realized I haven't seen my hidden card. I should wait til I see that to hit.))

Good way to unwind," she commented as she took her hidden card. tbRZAYKn1d11 "As far arrows go, I have three to use. "I don't know if it's entirely possible to tie Gwen down Cal," Val laughed.
"I mean it would be nice," she grinned, "but that's like making a wild stallion pull a field plow. Its possible...but it would take a miracle."
She hiccuped and handed the bottle back to Gwen.
OOC: I'm confused about my hidden card.
