Plan of Attack

Val looked around at the new faces that had shown up today.  She didn't know Nelson and Minerva all that well but hopefully they wouldn't cause any trouble.

"So.." she said digging through what appeared to have once been a fruit stand, "What is our plan of attack today?"

"I have to look for food some more and hacking is out of the question for me obviously," she said with a grin.

"By the way," she added turning to Nelson and Minerva, "Do any of you new arrivals want to state your allegiance?"

Valeria sat down on the edge of the market stall, "Obviously I'm a defected Peacekeeper, or peacebringer as Cal would say."

"In case you missed it yesterday," Val whispered to Gwen and Wallace, "I spied on Dante and unfortunately he is a peacekeeper and he hasn't yet announced it so he's making me nervous."

"I would recommend that you confirmed rebels hack a bit today to keep ahead of his attempts to turn the tides," she continued.

Valeria thought for a moment before continuing, "I'm going to spy on Nelson today and try to grab some food."

"Fuck me, my plan is just to attack and that didn't work for me." Nelson applied some pressure to his wound, wincing at the pain. Fuck that peacekeeper.

"Wren and Cal were at the Watchtower with me and I'm a rebel. They sent me here and told me to find you or Wallace or Eloise."

[Gwendolyn Fisk]

"Do you need to go to the hospital?" Gwendolyn glanced at the peacekeeper, "Looks like we're just going to have to take our chances and rush them." She turned to the others, "I'll understand if you guys want to ditch. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do either."

Gwen lowered her voice so only Val could hear, "What do you think? Should we try and take the Peacekeeper before they come after one of us? Or do you want to head over to the watchtower? I'm down for either, but I don't know how far ahead in food you are. I'm good for a couple of days if we decide to move."

They had retreated to a safe distance, "We can't just back down from this fight now," Val said hurridly.

"We also don't have time to run off to the hospital because we don't know WHO will be coming from that direction tomorrow," she sighed

"Hopefully Demetri and Holly will get here tomorrow and we can take out that peacekeeper easily," she added, "For now we have to hold our ground."

"I'm good with food until day seven but if there is a chance of seeing Holy and Demetri here tomorrow I want to take it," Val whispered.

"If they don't show by tomorrow I say we make a break for the armory," she frowned, "If we have to worry about peacekeepers now we're going to need to protect ourselves."

"But hopefully," she finished, "Demetri and Holly will be bringing weapons with them tomorrow and then on day six we can get back to the tower to try and catch up with Cal."

"I'm not one for ditching. I need food so I'm gonna try to stay at least one more day, hopefully Cal or Wren will come. If not, the watchtower is probably where I'll head."

Nelson winced, "oh I'm okay. I just--I was in the hospital so I have morphling on me. I was just waiting until someone really needed it."
