[whispered] Do we stick together anyway? I obviously am willing to work with peacekeepers, given I've trusted Cal already. You should have just told us.I just need to know what your aim is. Eloise seems to trust you, too. Do you want to stick together with our original group?

Sharlot frowned at Wren and then wrote on the board.

“I told Cal we’re on the same team, the team that matters, as in, the Phoenix Accord. Based on his response I'd see where his true allegiance lies, with the Peacekeepers or the Accord. I thought you of all people would recognize that. But seeing as you both think the team that matters is something else, I guess I learned you two have a different agenda…”

Then she erased the message.

Wren ran back to the alcove one last time, and found Sharlot there.

[whispered] "There are just so many peacekeepers claiming to be on our side...it just doesn't seem likely. Someone's lying, or there is a huge amount of peacekeeper rebels. I trust you. Stick with Cal. Keep yourselves Safe. Should I trust Holly/Gwen/Demetri/Dante etc?"

“Obviously people are pretending to be tributes. You think with an imminent rebellion threatening everyone’s lives, the Peacekeepers won’t fight the tributes just because they made friends in the Training Center? You can’t fall for anything anyone says until you can prove their allegiance. When we get out there it’s going to be a war zone.”
