Minerva grinned at Thomas, she felt like she had been waiting here for forever, and finally someone shows up. He had such a goofy grin on his face... and that hair. She covered his fist with a hand. "Paper covers rock." She winked.
"Alright, so it looks like before we hit this, we should come up with a plan together. What do you say?"

As he and Minerva discussed a plan, Thomas felt like they really worked well together. Maybe having a partner or two in these games IS the key

Thomas looked like a nice guy, and he was the first one to really talk to her. And discussing what they were going to do to make it through showed he obviously had a head on his shoulders. She decided then and there she would find him in the games...
"Alright, so for the stream, you toss me over, and then I'll throw one of the vines back to you? When you get over here, me sprinting through the arrows might leave them a bit of lag time, for you to follow right on my heels since it looks like they need to recharge. The rope should be easy, but then one of us needs to distract the mutts. How fast are you? The bullseyes really just come down to luck at the end." Without waiting for an answer, Minerva ran to the course, "No time like the present!" She leaped across the rocks, carefully choosing which seemed secure enough to step on. MEel9vC51d8+21d8+2

A bit wobbly on the landing, but not bad. She sent the rope hanging on one of the fake trees back to Thomas.

Minerva seemed to be pretty agile! And she was taking time to work with him and help him improve his skills, he could tell she was better at this sort of thing than he was.
She leaped across the rocks coming toward him. He grabbed held out his hands, conjoining his fingers allowing her to step into his hands so that he could toss her across the steaming water.
Come on Thomas, don't mess this up

Hey, not bad!
He had to admit he was a bit impressed with himself. He had often thrown his younger sister about for fun - but she was like 50 pounds. He managed to get Minerva across the stream. Sure, it wasn't graceful, but hey - she wasn't cooking like a lobster in the boiling pond.
