Yun noticed the chest first, and dashed towards it. He didn't have a weapon and he knew that at this point it was now or nothing. He needed something to help him through. He was hurt, and it felt helpless. He started a run.

He was close, but he noticed one of the stones he stepped on was beginning to sink down. He panicked and continued on.

Kiki saw Yun fall into the trap. She had not talked to the boy during the training days, but seeing him in distress forced her into action.

Kiki tried to pull Yun out of the sinking pit which was getting deeper and deeper but couldn't quite manage to grab him. She tried again.

It was to late the trap triggered injuring both tributes. The sinking stone filled with acid burning Kiki. Once the acidic liquid dissipated she stumbles out of the trap, skin red and gleaming but her expression was unchanged.
