Carefully maneuvering around the hospital corridors, Cal hears a scrapping sound accompanied by a wet struggling breath. Bracing himself for the sight waiting for him, he looks around the corner, aiming his SMG at whatever is lurking out there.

The sight was too much for Cal, his aim was off, striking the wall behind the creature. Bracing himself, he gives it a second shot.
