Jaffe took a stifled breath; the dozens of panels and intricate wiring gave little room for her to move, but the look would be astonishing. "I hope I wasn't too rash with Alistair," she thought, her emotions were a rush of fear and excitement.
She looked over at the other chariots. The district one boy immediately caught her eye. She had never seen a man so... bare, the sight made her blush and turn away. A new feeling went ran through her body, "stay focused Jaffe," she whispered to herself.

There were wires everywhere, it was like he couldn't move. Or that he was a robot. Either way, it was still kind of cool. As he filed into the large room, he didn't pay any attention to the other tributes as he made his way to the chariots that would carry him and Jaffe. She was already over there and with a surprising moment of humanity, he tapped her on the shoulder. "I'm sorry for earlier. Sometimes I let the cynical asshole side of me out at perhaps the wrong time. We're good?" He held out his hand for a handshake, an actual proper handshake. He took his place in the chariot, exhaling and looking forward at the other tributes. They weren't unimpressive, but he refused to let himself get a whole lot of hope for his chances. But still, anything's possible, right?

"Yeah we're good," giggled Jaffe, "Now let's show these capitol assholes how to put on a show."
The chariot began to roll out into the stadium. The distant noise of the crowd grew to a roar. The Chariot was black, the crowd could barely make out what was being carried. Suddenly its lights burst on. Streams of laser light lit up the stadium in intricate patterns. The little hover bots shot out from the sides of the chariot and began to dance around the grounds, flying over the heads of the spectators.
"Okay I hope this works," whispered Jaffe as she switched on the power to her dress. The sectioned panels illuminated displaying an animation of hearts and flowers. "I need to really put on a show," she thought. Jaffe began to twirl, dip, and spin. Her long elegant dress lifting and moving with her body.

With barely a moment to spare, his transport jolted forward and they began to move. Well, this was it. Al stood his ground and waved once as they entered the audience's viewpoint. Their chariot was a jet black and his costume was a steel grey, making it seem like he was floating in the dark setting of the arena. The multicolored laser show lit up the entire arena as the hover bots danced and hovered around the heads of the audience. There was a buzz about the small robots and Al even had to admit they were a good call. Al looked down at the small switch he had hidden into his own costume and snickered before looking up at the crowd before bellowing. "Let there be light" as the switch flipped and the lights in the entire arena began to dance in a rhythm unknown to any of the audience members.

The hover bots made their way to the tiered seating. They dropped tiny black boxes into the laps of audience members. The confused onlookers were startled to see the holographic threes pop out of the box. The cheers grew louder at this discovery, as thousands of number threes danced around the stadium.
Jaffe's dress changed images, portraying the face's of past District three victors.
