Nelson watched Sharlot, mouth dropped. "What...what are you doing??"

Wallace glowered with menace at Sharlot as he nimbly dodged her wild swings at him. She had lured him in with her written notes, but Wallace had been prepared for the possibility that she would attack him. "I was hoping the others were wrong about you" Wallace said cooly "but I see that I was the one mistaken for putting any kind of hope in the fact that you might have been on our side." Wallace backed away from her and Nelson. Wallace gave Nelson a quick once over, he looked hurt badly after his tussle with the other Peacekeeper. "Nelson, you need to run man, you're hurt pretty bad." Wallace glanced between Sharlot and the wounded Peacekeeper "I'll handle things here."

Tears were in Sharlot's eyes as she feebly attempted to strangle Wallace, a boy whom she barely knew, but seemed perfectly friendly and kind. Sharlot was never a fighter yet here she was violently assaulting someone. She was beginning to regret her involvement in the plan. She stepped back, tossing a crumpled note on the ground between them she had written before the attack.
"I am sorry for the things I've done here in the arena and I do not expect forgiveness. We all have a part to play and a role to fill. But whether we have chosen to play as black or white, it doesn't matter because we're all just pawns in a much, much bigger game."

"We'll what's your part then, to be a bitch?" Nelson snapped. "Black or white?? Let me guess, you're the gallant white knight sent to show us all the path? Come ON." He turned to Wallace and pointed, "don't you start. I'm fine, you're fine and I'm staying here." Nelson had reached his breaking point of annoyance and his bullshit tolerance level. "We were left in charge here and I'll be damned if we let this place fall because of this. I did not PLAN FOR THIS NO."
Nelson snorted and turned back to Sharlot, "I'll deal with you later, pawn."
