Minerva made it to the marketplace and looked around. It was quiet. She had expected warfare, fire and flames, but instead she was greeted with silence. She didn't know which was worse. Still, she avoided thinking about it and began to measure out her rations and plans. After what felt like hours, she began to look through the marketplace in the hopes of finding people.
"Is anyone here?" She said, looking around an empty street. She had heard there was a peacekeeper here, but he was nowhere to be found.

Stepping out from a ruined bakery, Dante smiled as he saw his district partner. "Minerva! So glad you're here." He called, carefully stepping around an overturned food kiosk. Taking your hand, Dante leans in close.
"Demetri and Holly creeped me out too, even moreso once they got ahold of the weapons we missed back in the armory. They seem to be close friends with Valeria, too. What happened after I left?" "Most of the western side shops have been checked already. But I remember hearing about a Savory Soups along Gwendolen Street, want to check it out with me?"

Minerva jumped, she had thought she was totally alone. "Dante... yeah, that actually sounds pretty nice. Maybe we can finally get some good food." She chuckled nervously. "Honestly, not too much happened. Reese returned, and I found out that she's a rebel. Thomas as well, along with Mr. and Mrs. violence and destruction. It seems like this is less of a war, and more of a slaughter. I'm just trying not to get caught in the crossfire. How about on your end?
"Have you seen the Peacekeeper since we've been here?"

"Last time I saw that patrol, he was heading toward the southern side of the market, near the taverns on the lakefront." Pausing a moment, Dante's brows furrowed. "Still, let's keep an eye out for him in case he changes routes." "Hope I can trust you with this, because at this point there are more people that know than don't know: I've been undercover for almost a year now, sent to ensure no more troublemakers like Cartwright make it out of the arena. Now everything's gone to hell, and I'm just trying to keep this city sane anyway I can." Dante gestured around the ruined storefronts.
"This is not sanity, Minerva. This is the kind of madness the Games are made to prevent!" Gesturing, your district mate leads you toward Gwendolen Street.
"I've learned that Holly, Demetri, Valeria and Reese have sided with the rebellion to destroy our way of life, and like I mentioned: They all know where I stand. A non-aggression pact has been keeping me alive so far, provided I don't cause any mischief... But if we don't act soon, all of Panem will be as ruined as these streets!"

"It looks like Valeria is going to be planning some sort of attack today. Why don't we go talk over there." "I've already decided to get food and spy on a few of the people today... namely Gwendolyn and Nelson... I'm obviously not going to be going after the peacekeeper... since you know where we stand... but I think at this point we really need some weaponry, and to attack. I don't know what you plan on doing tonight, but I think the best idea would be to forge allegiances and begin to hack for victory. I say we see who is damaged in the fight, who is a peacekeeper, and then..." Minerva paused, "we begin to ensure our victory. It's time to end this."
