Gwen was surprised to find some somewhat friendly faces, "Wallace! Eloise! Good to see you're both here. We haven't been properly introduced yet. I'm Gwen. I see that this area is under tribute control. Who do we have to thank for that?" Gwen smiled at the pair, waiting for an answer. "Also, care to give us any updates? What happened here yesterday?" Gwen looked over at Val, trying to keep control of her emotions, "Val, before we left Sharlot slipped a note to me saying that Cal took her token and that he's playing double agent. She said that Wallace is actually a Peacekeeper, which doesn't make sense if this area is under Rebel control. She asked me to join her at the hospital. It happened all so fast before we left I couldn't respond. I'm worried about what's happening over there." She interlaced her fingers with Val's. Holding hands was a simple comfort and it gave her some peace of mind, "It feels like the only person I can trust anymore is you," Gwen said as she placed her other hand on Val's cheek. "Please don't give me a reason to believe otherwise."

Eloise hadnt interacted with Gwen or Val much during preparations for the games. She remembered Val's speech to Millie and hoped she had meant it.
"No one really. A group of us made it here and got some food. Then we split ways for a bit. Were you able to see much from the tower? Any idea of everyone is okay?"

"Yea, we left Cal at the watchtower. He said he was supposed to meet up with Wren. Why didn't you go with him?"

Eloise's face immediately flushed as she stumbled over her words. "I wanted him to stay here another day. Lester shot him as we escaped the rooftop and he didnt find any food the first day. He was set on finding Cal so I gaave him what food I could in case it was a rough trip. Now we're here hoping he comes back or sends word that he's okay. I was worried peacekeepers had control of the watchtower."

Val was a bit relieved to see that she at least knew everybody here, "Some of them could be peacekeepers but at least there's no 'unknowns'" she thought to herself.
"Hey Eloise," she said addressing the girl before her, "I don't think we've been properly introduced but I'm sure you've at least seen me by now. My name's Val if you hadn't caught it."
"I'm a bit worried about Cal," she said turning to Gwen, "He got left there all alone..."
Valeria frowned, "Well the best we can do is stick together and scrounge up some food. We're going to need it if we want to stay alive."
Val turned to Eloise, "What happened to Holly and Demetri?"
While I don't know how I feel about Cal anymore I would never trust someone we know to be a true PeaceKeeper. On top of that Deo spied on the Hospital, didn't share his findings, and then ran off in that direction. My best guess is that there are a bunch of peacekeepers there. I think you're right about the hacking result of the Market. The result would make no sense if Wallace was a PeaceKeeper. So if we know Sharlot is lying about that...then maybe she's lying about Cal. ...at least I hope so. That said I think our first course of action should be to spy on Eloise. I think both of us should spy on her to make sure that at least one of us gets a good result. And if we both succeed you'll at least know that you can trust me a little more because you'd be able to see if I was lying to you. No matter what we need to stick together. I'm gonna hold out hope for Cal and hopefully Holly and Demetri who are confirmed allies will return tomorrow with weapons assuming they went to the armory. I'm gonna spy on Eloise and then scavenge for food twice. I need you to hack because I can't hack for the rebels. If you don't get any food I'll share some with you. Val smiled at Gwen, "all we can do right now is hope."

"Well Cal sholdn't be alone with Wren there. Hopefully they're being smart. Holly and Demetri went to go look for Dante. He was supposed to meet us here and we started to get worried when he wasnt here. Pending on what they find they should be back soon. I think Wren might try and go get some medical attention. How are you ladies holding up?"

"I'm good. A bit hungry, but good. Will Holly and Demetri come back this way tomorrow then?" "Since this area is under Rebel control already I don't think hacking will do much good. I will definitely scavenge and spy on both Eloise and Wallace, mostly for my own peace of mind. Where will we move next? Did you want to head back to the watchtower?"

Val thought about their situation for a moment, "So I've told people that I'm a peacekeeper but if you heard my speech in the kitchen or saw my interview you know how I feel on the whole situation." She looked around at the others, "so sadly I cannot hack because the biometric scanners would recognize me and revert any hacking I did for the opposite faction." "However," she said grinning, "seeing as we all claim to pledge allegiance to the rebels and we already control this point none of us need to hack." "In fact," she said looking around, "if anyone hacks that's pretty much pegs them as a peacekeeper. Especially if the market 'magically' goes to the peacekeepers..." Val continued, "So, we should focus on scavenging up some food. But," she added, "if spying on each other makes you feel more comfortable do that. We're not going to get very far if we can't trust each other." Val smiled, "how's that for a plan Gwenny?"
"This way," she added, "you don't have to hack and any peacekeepers here will be afraid to..."
"Now let's get you fed," she grinned.
"As for where to go tomorrow," she thought out loud, "Let's see how our spying pans out and see if there are any deaths in either of the adjoining areas before we decide where to go."
Val smiled as genuinely as she could in a help to assuage Gwen's fears, "I'm sure Cal will be fine though. He is the captain of course. He promised he'd see us again and he's too tough to just give up on a promise like that. "

Wallace knew nothing about Val or Gwen, so when they first arrived he did not respond right out, but rather waited and listened. "I like Cal, he seemed like an honest guy, but you being a peacekeeper does make me uneasy". Wallace frowned "I want to trust you, so forgive my cautiousness." Wallace thought a moment before he spoke next. "I won't spy on you, but I'll be monitoring the security systems from a console."

"I dont knw that they'll be back tomorrow. Kinda depends on if they find Dante or anything worth sharing. I understand you wanting to be cautious Wallace, but right now it is nice to see some familiar faces. There are a lot of people we coukd run into." I've already hacked in once. Go ahead if you want, but if either of them hack we'll know they're full of shit. All of them.

Val thought about their situation and the idea of being so close to an armory filled with weapons made her a bit nervous. "Anybody could suddenly crash the party with a submachine gun if they decided to double back to the market..." she thought to herself, "I just hope that if they do they're on our side.""They didn't make plans with you before they left?" she asked aloud, "I'm surprised you didn't all lay out a strategy for how to meet back up seeing as though you had Wren, Demetri, and Holly here. Those guys love to plan..." she finished thinking back on their time together in the loading docks. OOC: Did you get the whisper I put in my last message? It was mostly just RP. Also, I just had some bad rolls...
Val frowned, she had just had some serious trouble trying to get a good read on Eloise which was odd for her, "but I guess everyone has their off days," she whispered.
I probably have time to try one more thing today and," she said thinking aloud, "I'm probably going to need to try again to find some food."
"But," she added, "If you weren't able to get a good read on Eloise (6 or above) I'll try again to read her."
"Just let me know if you figured her out before the end of the day," she smiled at her friend, "because I'd rather go hungry for a day than be stabbed in the back by Eloise tomorrow."

"Well we talked about it a lot, but really by the end of it they said they were going to be back and that this was the rally point. Wallace and I were to keep it Rebel held if possible. " Eloise straightened out the creases in her shirt only to remember that she was in a war and no one gave a shit what she looked like. She took a deep breath. "What if....if tomorrow this stays a rebel held base. We'll know who's on what side. Maybe Gwen and Wallace stay here and I go....with Val, to the Armory. That way we can protect the Market by day 4 if need be." I'm taking Val because I know for certain that she's a peacekeeper. I don't think we should trust both of them to go get weapons, and I don't want to leave both of them here at the market. What do you think?

Wallace shot Eloise a worried look. "As much as I don't like being separated from Eloise, this may be the best course of action" Wallace crossed his arms "that way Eloise and Val can meet up with Holly and Demetri to possibly back them up if things have gone south, and I want be left completely alone if anyone comes charging in from the either side." Wallace looked at Gwen warily before wiping a hand across his face. "I apologize for my distrust. It's... Difficult for me." Wallace looked down at the ground, his face crimson. "I think that's a risk, but it's smarter than just sitting here waiting to be outnumbered in case they are trying to turn against us." Wallace bit his lip. "If we do this, be safe Eloise."

Gwen smiled, "I know the feeling Wallace. Look, if Holly and Demetri said they were coming back let's assume they will be back. We have no idea what's going on at the Armory so we should exercise some caution, but that's just my take on things. Gwen winked at Val, "Don't worry, I got a good read on both of them and some food while I was at it. Feel free to do as you please."
OOC: I got your other whisper.

Eloise was slowly awakened by the sun pushing it's way through her eyelids. She slowly rubbed her eyes as she let the information of the last day or so register. She figured that those in the market were probably feeling a little bit more at ease now that they were all alive and waking up. No one had attacked. After sprucing up a bit, Eloise went off to find her current neighbors.
"Has anyone thought about my suggestion? I could understand waiting another day if that would make people more comfortable, but I am anxious. I don't know who's at the Watchtower today or what they plan on doing next. Same goes for the Armory."

Gwen tapped her finger against her chin. I wouldn't mind seeing who's on either side of us. I assume Cal and Wren have the fort held down over at the Watchtower, but it would be nice to meet up with them. We are blind when it comes to the Armory, though. I'm okay with moving to wither one." She glanced over at Val with some concern, "Did you find food yesterday, Val?" Gwen skipped over to Val. Her mood uplifted with her successful spying session. Good information always put her in a better mood. She gave Val a quick peck on the cheek. "Both of them are Rebels. I trust them. Where do you think we should go? It would be nice to check on things with Cal, but the Armory could be a war-zone for all we know. I'm not too worried that Holly and Demetri can hold their own."

Val turned her pockets out revealing a whole lot of nothing. "Sadly, I had a bit of a bad day yesterday as far as my luck went." "But," she added, "I have enough food for a day or so more." She smiled, "I just need to make sure to grab some food tomorrow." Val thought to herself, "It seems like I may be able to trust them..." She glanced around the room, "but then why am I still so nervous?""I understand where you're coming from Eloise," Val added, "but I really can't justify separating from Gwen." "I'm honestly surprised that they're both Rebels," Val replied, "But that is really good news."
"Obviously I don't blame them for not trusting me," she whispered watching the other two, "did they whisper anything to you?"
Val looked towards the armory and then back towards the Watchtower. "Here's the thing," she said at last, "I really think that there were a lot of peacekeepers at the Hospital judging by Deo and Sharlot's actions so I'm worried that a lot of armed peacekeepers will show up there tomorrow which could be bad for us."
"But," she continued looking back towards the armory, "we know that Holly and Demetri planned on coming back here tomorrow with weapons and I need food tomorrow. So honestly our best bet would be to wait here for them since we know we can trust them. When they come with weapons we can travel with them towards the tower and find Cal."
"I feel like staying still might still and getting some more food will be our best option but obviously I won't do that if you're completely opposed," she finished.

Wallace glanced around the room, he sat close to the console protectively. "I guess we can just do whatever we want at this point. I have a feeling more and more people will head this way, everyone's gotta eat" Wallace broke off a heel of bread and munched on it silently, his eyes staring into nothing as he thought about the next move.

Gwen nodded, "I agree. I think it might be best we stock up as much as we can before too many people get here. Get it while the getting's good and all that." "They haven't tried whispering to me. I'm okay with staying and stocking up some more. You might want to let the other's know so that they don't go hoarding food. They both have to have a good stockpile by now since they've been here a while."

"Well then Gwen and I will stay here another day," Val addressed the tributes. She frowned, "I really need some food and hopefully Dante and Holly will be back tomorrow with weapons." "We may need them," she finished, "If Sharlot and Deo are any indicators there may be some peacekeepers from the Hospital moving towards us tomorrow." "Alright. Let's stay here then." She smiled at Gwen.
"I'm really glad we've been able to stick together," she said putting her arm around her.

Val looked to Gwen, "I'll let her explain. I don't think it's a believable coming from a peacekeeper even if I AM on your side." I'm going to leave it up to you what you say about Cal Gwenny.
As much as I don't trust him I know you really care about him so I don't want to condemn him if you still have faith.

Val looked uncomfortable, "Well Cal claimed to be a peacekeeper in support of the Rebels like me and to his credit he didn't hack. Though near the end he made me nervous because he changed his plans to move with us to stay and wait for Wren but except for that he seems trust worthy. That said, he told us that Sharlot signed in his hand "SAME TEAM" while they were in the training center. He spied on her and Wallace because we can spy on the surrounding areas from the watch tower. He said that Sharlot came up as a peacekeeper and Wallace came up as a Rebel. I spied on Demetri and he came up as a rebel. Deo spied on the hospital and then just bid us farewell without giving a reason after his spying was successful. He even told us he was going to spy on them but he decided not to share the info. Following that it became obvious we knew Sharlot was a peacekeeper so she quickly ran to the hospital with Deo. I want to trust Cal though because Gwen trusts him. And because he came up with the term PeaceBringer to replace "defected peacekeeper" I just hope he's telling the truth and really did meet up with Wren because he said he loves him and was worried about him getting shot. So that's why I think I can trust Demetri and Wallace and why I don't trust Sharlot and Deo. I want to believe Cal and I think there are peacekeepers at the Hospital that Deo and Sharlot met up with."

Wallace looked down at the ground his face was flush. "Sharlot is a peacekeeper..." He muttered. "I had a feeling... but I really hoped it wasn't true." Wallace rubbed his eyes with his thumb and forefinger. "So they can spy on us from that tower huh? Useful..." Wallace looked off into the direction of the watchtower, his knee started to bounce.
