Thomas stayed up and observed his fellow tributes throughout the night. Reese beat him and the rest to two days worth of food, and he was right to think that the rifle would be popular - Janet got that. Thomas managed to get the how though. He added it to his pack.
There had been plenty of spying going on amongst the other tributes. Thomas wasn't involved in that at all... But he sort of wished he had been. He was rigt where he started not knowing who to trust.
"What do you guys make of everything that went down last night?"

Well stocked but not so well armed, she still felt confident with how the day had went. "Seems like everyone showed their hand to some extent. I'm curious to know what went down everywhere else. Kinda surprised to see that the cannon hasn't gone off yet, spose there's still time left. Everyone must've at least made it out of the training facility." Reese prepared herself to leave the room and scour the Armory for something that hadn't already been ransacked. Before leaving she leaned closer to Mr. Windsnip, "Pssst... Thomas, what next? I don't plan on sticking around here any longer unless I have to, what about you?"

"I'm not sure the cannon will go off. Everyone started healthy and stuffed themselves with food in the Capitol. What do you think?" "I don't know what to do, but we could try to duck out together. There are some people here that I don't think I can trust. I don't want to run in to the super alliance and be out numbered by them when I don't know what side they're on. Do you have any idea? Which way should we head?"

"It feels weird saying this, considering that just a day ago we were all getting ready to murder eachother in the Games, but I was kinda worried that the capital guards might have done them in. I heard gunfire as I was leaving, hope that none of us were caught in it. That's a good point though... we aren't in the Games anymore, I need to keep reminding myself, there might not even be a cannon."

"That's a fair point. I'd like to hope that that is not the case... But I'm not sure I can count on anything anymore. I don't even know what to do at this point. Do you have a plan?"

"No sense in making moves when we don't know the game anymore." Pacing back and forth among the crates, Dante looked thoughtful. "The training center's loading docks had crates for cameras, pods and other Arena materials. Seems like those would be useful in a war-zone like this." He glanced back toward the monolithic training center. "No telling what they threw together out here." "I'm unarmed and starting to get hungry, and it's too risky to head out there without some kind of weapon at least. Come tomorrow morning, I'll look around the eastern part of the armory for whatever's been overlooked. What about you, Thomas?"

"I feel like I might be more safe here than anywhere else. I mean... none of you attacked me last night- fingers crossed that we can keep up that traditions tonight has well. I just get a little nervous about that mega alliance as I don't know which way they lean. It seemed like there was some trouble in paradise as we were leaving. I heard Cam? Cal? Or whoever telling the others that Wren was a tribute, and implied that the rest were peace keepers. Do you guys know anything about that group?"

She looked out the window across the clearing, in the distance she could see the watchtower and wondered what might be going on within it. She glanced down then sideways towards those still nearby.
After briefly clearing her throat, "Well... it was nice getting to know you and all, and I hope to see someof you again, but I think it is time for me to exit stage left!" giving a rather flamboyant bow.
And not a moment went by before Reese dove out the window, the dumpster below catching her fall, perhaps not quite so elegantly as she had hoped as it still knocked the wind out of her. After quickly coming back to her senses she propped herself back up and with a quick hop onto the ground she sprinted off into the darkness.
