((OOC: This thread is to discuss this groups action in the upcoming assault on parts of the capitol and as a meeting place in case we're separated - Eloise also shouldn't have any trouble reading things in here without prying eyes, she can't read whispers on her phone at the moment. Let's focus on the kitchen for now, but if we need to use it this space is ours, preferably these events will take place after the events in the kitchen.))

Eloise, Holly wants you, me Dante, her, and possibly Demetri to go to armory... thoughts?

Holly approached the door, luckily it seemed the Peacekeepers were busy tracking everyone down and not yet trying to keep them in their rooms. She tried the lock and hoped the code still worked.
Success.
Stepping in, she was surprised to find Wren and Eloise had beat her to it and had already settled in. Flipping a mop bucket over Holly took a seat.
"Glad you made it. Hell, I'm glad the code still worked, there was a chance they'd fixed it. Little miracles, huh? Eloise, a few of us, namely Demetri, Dante, Millie and present company of course. I gave them access because of our conversation earlier in your hotel room. I think the armory is our best bet."

Holly thought for a moment, "Then again, that Supply Depot that Capitol receives all its goods from is tempting. Some of the things we could find there may be more useful than a few bullets. But I think we have a good team for the armory if we want to stick to that plan. Wren has gotten stronger just in his time being here, as have you. I think Demetri and Dante are excellent allies considering what's going on, both strong."

Wren spoke up, "It's just...I haven't had time to hear out Dante & Demetri. They're both obviously strong but what's their goal? Demetri is a peacekeeper right? Dante? You? I just need to know. I don't particularly care, but it'd be nice to know."
"And yes, I'm really skilled for attacking."

If we had 2 groups, we could split into armory & supply depot. Depot could send things over to armory maybe? like food, etc. I'm lowest on scavenging

Slipping back toward the hideaway Holly mentioned, Dante was glad to see so few people gathered for his real plan.
"You all probably heard me out in the kitchen just now, but th- er, there's a step above that plan which may be the best strategy in the coming days...
What everyone will do:
The new Bloodbath is at the armory. Most will attempt to go there, probably NOT fight, as we don't know allegiances yet, but will presumably use the first day trying to get guns. They will then head South to the supply depot thinking to gain the best equipment; then sweep along the path to the hospital to heal on day 3, discover spies on Day 4 at the watchtower, and finally camp at the market to enjoy food, gear and guns.
What Some people will do:
They will anticipate the bloodbath in the armory, and try to attempt the same plan a step earlier, by moving to the Supply Depot for items first; reading the situation to know if they should fight the newly equipped group from the armory and then falling back to the hospital to heal up should the need arise.
What I propose WE do: Both groups listed above focus on winning during the first three to five days; but they forget: This is a war, not a battle. As tributes uncover the loyalties of their group, it will lead to fragmentation as they betray each other. I propose we move to take the probably uncontested Market to scavenge for a large food advantage early on, then move to the probably-empty armory, to claim weapons of our own before moving back through the market again on Day 3 for more food, eventually fortifying the Watchtower just as the other groups arrive at the hospital on day 3 or 4. This places us in the position of being decently equipped, very well fed and the crucial ability of spying on the areas around us to know their locations, health and loyalties on day 4, right around when the Hunger sets in. The biggest calibre gun in the world can't stave off starvation... To get to the market's food, they'll have to either take another 3 days going back through the arena, or go through us; which they won't expect at all...
...Or everyone will scatter and no plan is worth having at this point. What are your thoughts?"

Would depot allow for transportation of goods to other teammates, do you think?

"Wren, yes our larger group has that many - and we can coordinate with them if possible. But Dante has brought up some interesting points. Dante, our goal is to fight the Capitol, I think most are on board. But there will definitely be blood over the weapons. I think you're right in assuming it will be a fight. The more I think about the Supply Depot the more I feel like it's where we need to be. I know that wasn't the plan... Eloise?"
Remembering Wren's other question Holly spoke again.
"We can share food and items can't we? I'm sure of it."

Previously, Holly was pushing for us to go armory...and I want to avoid any bloodbaths. I mean, I could maybe attack someone if I had to. I'd almost rather spy/hack but I guess I'll help wherever I'm useful. the most useful things are in the depot, and I think Dante would have good ideas on how to use them all.
Dante, are you tribute?

((ooc: I have to go to bed soon, I have to be up early for work. I think our best bet is to exit early wednesday in the morning to wherever we agree to go. the sooner we get out and fill a place the better our chances, right? Its a bit first come first serve if I read it right but I'm sleepy.))
"Dante, I think Gwen and others in the alliance intended to take the Watchtower, it might be a good idea to consider the Hospital around that time too. Depending on where things stand. Obviously, we can adjust as necessary but I think your plan actually sounds a lot better than what we were thinking before."

“So, this is our ragtag group of clowns that’s going to overthrow the Capitol, huh? Never thought I’d be field trip buddies with Chatty McBabyface, but here we are.” He slapped Wren hard on the back.
“And who’s the gorgeous redhead in the corner? Can I trust you to cover my back, gorgeous? Ever held a gun before?”

“Anyone with half a brain already knows my story. I told it at the Feast, and told the rest of it at the Interview. I’m an open book. Like I told Holly and the others, if you cross me, I will hunt you down with a fiery vengeance, but if you’re on my side, I’m as loyal as they come. So what I’m saying is, you don’t need to trust me, Chatty. You just need to not piss me off.”

Wren considered his bluntness and related. He'd always been like that to his brother. "Well...can't argue with that. Basically, ditto. Like I've said-I'm willing to help out anyone that would help me. As long as 'on your side' has nothing to do with peacekeeper/tribute then we're good. Besides, you guys need me. So I'll stick where I'm needed."
Wren didn't want to sound smug, but he'd been feeling much stronger the more he talked to everyone while he was here.

"I'm for dante's plan. We should try the market and move from there. I'd like to snag a laptop if possible at somepoint, but we can do without. However if the market is overrun, I propose we take the hospital. Morphling will help offset the hunger pains."
Eloise bit the side of her cheek. "I'd prefer a knife Demetri."
"And dont forget, killing isnt the only way we win. If we can hack the Capitol, we can win this war."

Wren whipped around. "Eloise! I'm so fucking glad to see you!" He hugged her before he realized and backed off, not wanting to make Demetri think he was some child.
"I agree about a laptop. That would be useful. But if there's only one to take, we'd probably miss it."
OOC: Eloise, we're aiming to decide & post by 9:30 am CST. We'll stick together wherever this takes us, whoever posts first the other will follow. Deal? If we decide soon, and someone posts early the rest will just have to follow)

"Demetri, Dante - I'm going to go update the girls, I'm sure they've circled back to the loading dock by now. Everyone else, we're agreed then, follow Dante's plan? Hit the markets?"
Holly looked at her new group of tributes. Vester certainly has thrown a wrench in our plans. I wonder what happened to start all this...

"We won't be able to come back to this space after we do, so if there's anything more to say, do it now." Wren looked around the room.
"Looks like Millie's running for it on her own so we don't have to worry about her. Once we're all in place, look around for what items you want. Let's not fight over them. We're here to work together. I just gave a speech in the kitchen. I hope you all heard that. I mean all of it."
OOC: posts are public, right? So we'll be able to see when the first person heads out?
