"I overheard Millie and Vester talking in the rose garden. I was wondering if you've noticed or know anything about some sort of writing on the walls in here? Vester mentioned it, but not Millie, so I don't know if she knows about it."
(OOC: Did the first whisper not work? Sorry I'm trying my best to be sneaky haha.)

"Oh, wow! The media center's got to have every moment of ALL the Hunger Games! I could live in this place!
Dante tried to appear calm and collected, though questions sprang up like fireworks in his mind as he took up a console close to Gwen and Sharlot.
"It's the unedited sponsor evaluations!" He whispered, scrolling through the Tributes' files.
"Jaden Fox used a bow for his solo demonstration? That explains a lot."
The sound of a scream tore Dante's eyes from the screen. He recognized the sounds from last year's Game.
"That was in the West tower, day four. Taylor Shorthorn was taken out by both Shuhmachers; not much of a fair fight there." He said, walking over to Sharlot's station.
"They were too aggressive for my taste. What interests you in the West tower last year?"

Gwendolyn leaned in. For a moment she thought Gwendolyn might try and kiss her again, and her heart skipped a beat, but then she started whispering. Sharlot secretly typed back to her... (OOC: No the first whisper must not have worked. Just looks blank to me)
Writing on the walls? Perhaps she was referring to the blackboard in the hidden alcove.
Sharlot made sure no one was looking and then typed, “Millie took a bunch of us to her old Alliance Room hideout here in the library where she had written ‘NO ONE DIES IF WE DON’T PLAY THE GAME’ on the wall. Do you think that’s what they’re talking about?”

Dante approached their computer and Sharlot quickly deleted what she had written on her computer.
Dante seemed to know his Hunger Games history. She gave Dante a friendly wave and then typed, “Gwendolyn was just looking to learn from some of the old fight scenes. Definitely wasn’t a fair fight, but that’s how you get ahead, isn’t it? They knew how to use the arena to their advantage, using the hovercrafts to sneak attack the other alliance.”

"Are you looking for anything important?" "Oh, Gwen. There are so many moments I'd love to see! How the Primrose Accord began, why the sponsors loved Seth Judkins so much, why so many tributes died of hunger in last year's Games..." Dante realized he had begun rambling. "Er, and general-tactics stuff. You know how they like to change up the Games each year. Find any mistakes that you'll be sure to avoid out there?"

Gwen found Dante rather adorable when he geeked out about the games. "I think I found a few. Hey, I'll meet you at the usual spot later."
Gwen turned to Sharlot, "Thanks for the help!" She lowered her voice. "Make sure to find me here later." Gwen started out the door.
"Oh, actually, before I forget," she went back over to Sharlot and gave her a kiss. "That was for skipping out on me at the feast."
Gwen left the room.

Sharlot turned bright red. But when Gwendolyn turned to leave she couldn’t help but let out a smile. The cameras must have caught the kiss and Sharlot was sure it would be all over the national broadcast. What would Mr. Cuprick think?

No sooner had Wren replied, "Oh, hey Gwen. How's it going?", than she planted a kiss on Sharlot and left the room. Um. I must have missed something...
Wren gave Sharlot a raised-eyebrow look and decided to change the focus off of her. He knew she'd appreciate that.
"So, uh Dante...Learning anything helpful while reviewing these tapes? I'm a little worried about food since starvation is deadly, but couldn't we just attack for hunting instead of scavenging?" Wren didn't know much about Dante, but he knew he had great strategic skills.

Eloise hoped nobody noticed her snort as Gwen kissed Sharlot. This sure was an ofd place to start a romance. Maybe theyw were just trying to get sponsors attention.
"Sharlot would you be able to pull up footage of the primrose accord? I'm not familiar with it and people keep mentioning it."

Eloise used a nearby computer to do some of her own research of the Primrose Accord. "Ohh, thats what it was." Holly, whisper to me if you'd like my room password. I'd like to talk to you about alliances. I'm not necessarily offering you a slot in mine, or asking to join yours if you have one, but would like to have a candid conversation.

Not even attempting to hide her amusement at Gwen's usual antics and letting out a small burst of laughter, Holly rose from her seat by Gwen and began to explore the library. She hadn't been in here before and there certainly was a tremendous amount of material that could be of us. Taking a seat at an empty terminal near the less familiar tributes, she began to watch some clips of previous games. Everyone thinks it's useful, may as well have a look."I'm interested, where to?"

While awaiting a response from Dante, Wren wondered if it was each other they should fear most in the Games...or the things sent in to the arena...or the person sending them to the arena? He'd considered many strategies and was eager to hear some other ideas from the other tributes.
The uncertainty of this whole peacekeeper-tribute 'are they/aren't they' thing was killing him. Should we all just throw it out there? Could peacekeepers work together with tributes on a common goal? Wren knew 24 people was way too much to get on board with such big decisions. He decided to keep talking to people to get a better idea of where this was all headed...

"Couldn't we just attack for hunting instead of scavenging?" This is what Dante excelled at! He'd had countless discussions about Games strategy and their risks. "Most Games have four stages, Wren. These can each be broken into three different sub-stages..." Catching himself before his rambling began, Dante smiled a moment, "Er, without getting into it; the best time to fight for food is near the beginning. Afterwards we'll probably have to forage for our own, or rely on sponsors. Last year, we watched as Seth died while defusing a bomb, and Tristan drowned Anton. Now and then we'd get a brief update on Arnie Thistle: 'Yep, still starving to death.' It was depressing to watch, and not at all exciting. So let's focus on getting at least into stage three, Okay Wren?"

"Heh. Sounds like a plan." Wren was glad to see some other tributes willing to discuss overall strategy. Their days were numbered, and he was determined to learn as much as he could before entering the arena since he hadn't always watched the full Games at home in years past.
Wren hesitated before asking, but ultimately decided to be upfront with Dante. "I'd sorta like to snag a few things at the Cornucopia, but the thought terrifies me. This whole trust thing is just so scary. What do you think you'll end up doing at the start? Are you the type to fight for supplies?"

"What do you think you'll end up doing at the start? "Three things can happen to a tribute during the first stage of the Games: They fight and win, fight and lose or they grab what they can and run. Sometimes victors survive a bad start, but the odds aren't in their favor." Flicking the controls around different scenes, Dante brought up a new image. "Here is Jaffe Maddox grabbing the handgun from last year's cornucopia. It helped her get through almost the entire Games! We should all look around at what's available during the starting countdown, and decide if it's worth going after."

Wren studied the footage Dante brought up. Damn. I forgot there had been actual guns in there, before. Wren realized he didn't have experience with one and hadn't tried it out during the skills training session. That did seem like a useful weapon, but maybe others were just as useful. Who knows, maybe he'd get lucky with anything he managed to pick up. "Wow. Thanks for bringing that up. It's a good point." Are you in an alliance? I'm just trying to get a good idea of how many groups we have going on here. It's so hard to tell.
