The label on Snow's Private Reserve was too small for Dante to read. He gripped the bottle loosely as another wave of sobriety left him with somewhat tangible thoughts again.
Dancing? Awesome! Wait, can I dance? A moment paused as Dante tried to answer the seemingly rhetorical question.
He gazed at the thick glass of the liquor bottle.
"Icompletelydancetoo!" He cried, staggering to his feet.

Demetri couldn't help but laugh out loud. This crowd was a riot. He got to his feet and started a popping his shoulders and subtle stepping to the beat. Demetri wasn't a dancer, but was athletically and musically inclined enough to make it look like he knew what he was doing as long as he kept it simple. Simple was cool, Dante's moves were... entertaining.
Demetri placed his hands on Holly's hips and bounced back and forth with her. She didn't look like the dancer type, but she had very good control of her movements. She moved up a couple ranks in his book.
Demetri smirked at her. "So what other hidden talents do you have?"

Valeria squeezed Gwen lightly to get her attention and then motioned over to Holly and Beardly.
She did her best to try to watch the show while simultaneously looking like she wasn't paying attention at all.
"Don't want to make Holly self conscious now," she thought herself, "That would just ruin the show.",

Gwen felt Val squeeze her hand. She glanced over to where the boys finally got in on the action. "My aren't they cute? Who knew Demetri could dance? And Dante over there isn't so bad," she said quietly. She giggled at Dante's erratic movements.

"I'm still trying to decide if that's dancing or just something Beardly picked up in those 'private clubs' of his..."
Asshe danced with Gwen Valeria glanced around the room. This was fun and all but it lacked a certain...flair.
"Ok, everyone," Val addressed the room, "We've done drinks, we've done dancing, what's next."
She knew that eventually the five of them would have to decide if they trusted each other enough to enter the arena together...and honestly they were probably going to need to find even more people.
...five was no where near enough to guarantee safety.
But for just this night we should have fun...
They could discuss strategy tomorrow night after their smoke date. Dante reaaaly needed to steal those cigarettes.
((OOC: I talked to the gamemaker and they said they would be down for RPing Dante stealing from them and they would like it if he RP's that in the "announcements" section. We could form a 'strike force' or Dante could go in alone.))

Holly wasn't surprised both boys took her up on the offer. She didn't think she was unattractive or particularly unfriendly, but Careers move in cliques and not everyone is welcome.
She wasn't very good at flirting either and rather than work on her flirtatious banter now, drunk and exhausted as she was, she opted to shoot him a playful smile and a mischievous wink. Holly turned and face Dante only then noticing his more 'playful' dancing in comparison to Demetri. Decisions, decisions. Enjoying the dance and the boys company she heard Val speaking up with a pretty good question.
"What's next? Well, I'm pretty sure we have some cigarettes to steal. What do you say, everyone? Should we let poor Dante go it alone? Or work as a team? We're going to need the practice in a few days."

Laughter burst from Dante's mouth as the music faded and the group returned to their seats. "A bet's a bet; but I'm going to need everyone'shelpto *Urp* ...to get close enough to Lombard to grab a pack."
Steadying himself a moment on the table, Dante thought of all the fascinating Behind-The-Games documentaries and their description of the Training Center. A plan was coming together...
"If anyone here wants to help, I'd appreciate it. Then again, what can they do to us if we get caught? Send us to the Games?" He grinned.
"We need at least three of us, and a certain-someone would make things much easier." Dante paused,
"Does anyone know where we can find a former Hunger Games victor?"

"There's that red headed girl I've seen bouncing around with some of the tributes," Val chimed in.
She thought for a moment, "Have any of you seen Agni around recently? He made a big splash at the banquet and then just kinda vanished..."
"BUT," she exclaimed, "Lets get going on those cigarettes! What's the plan?"

"Hmm. I'm pretty sure I saw Millie Cartwright - the redhead - wandering around still. I don't think she's left yet. I think Val and I passed by her on the way over. She was in the garden alone not too long ago."

"From what I know, we're going to need to first get off the Training Complex floors. This building has one hundred and ten floors, and we're restricted to the bottom thirty." Dante leaned in to lift a water bottle from the table.
"To get the elevators up to Lombard's floor, we need to either spy an Avox or peacekeeper's passcode; or have a Victor use their access to get us past the Tribute floors."
(OOC: I'm writing up a mini-heist scenario! Should be posted in a thread...somewhere.)

Val slammed her fist into her hand in what she hoped was a playful yet tough gesture, "Alright! Lets do this!"
"Sounds like you have the start of a great plan there! Let me see if I can help you with it!" she volunteered.

I actually know a work around to the security system," val said brightly.
"On my way through the service elevator we had to sneak around to get here I noticed a panel that seemed to be a centralized hub for the buildings security protocols," she said as seriously as possible considering the alcohol in her body.
Val slapped Dante on the back playfully, "If I can show you where it is maybe Stable here can work the same magic he did with that battle simulation interface."

"Well would you look at what the cat dragged in... Oh right, that'd be me!" Throwing her arms up in the air and then making an exaggerated bow.
Looking around she took stock of who all was here and was glad to see that the numbers were still as small as they were, "And here I was thinking you were going to be using Wren as your secret weapon to talk everyone to death." She rubbed her hands together, "Val promised me booze, and what's this I hear about getting some smokes?"

"I guess we could -" Holly stopped turning to see Reese and her dramatic entrance. How'd she get in? I haven't seen her. Maybe one of the others invited her? She wasn't about to keep planning in front of this newcomer. Not yet."I don't think we've met. I'm Holly." Shooting a look at the others that plainly meant "What's the deal here?" she waited for someone to speak up.

"Hey everyone, this is New Blue. I thought we could afford to increase the attractiveness of our gang a little more so I invited her in. Also, she's a gatherer type, and could help keep us fed and equipped. Which leads us to the next point I'd like to bring up and that's division of labor. When we're out there I think we should each focus on our best skills to make the most of our time. It'll take a bit more coordination, but I think this is the right group to pull it off. What do you think?"

She gave a slight wave to Holly, "Reese, district 11." Then turned her attention to Demetri, "Y'know that's something I've spent a lot of time thinking about and having a plan is definitely a lot better than not having a plan. Though any plan you have probably goes to shit the moment you walk into the arena. I know I'm the new gal about town and wanna hear what others are thinking but I've definitely got a few ideas of my own assuming you all wanna hear em."

I guess for now, I'm trusting Demetri with this one.
"I'm willing to listen, but frankly you're right. It will go to shit, because none of us know what we'll be faced with or anything about the Arena. Having defined roles and discussing our strengths is one thing, securing an alliance - sure. Pretending we have a plan of action, if its anything more than broad strokes just seems like a good way to go in overconfident and wind up dead."
Holly sat back and sipped her water.
"I would think we should figure out a way to regroup once inside. We can't really plan anything worth sticking to until we're in there."

"Everyone always goes for the weapons during the cornucopia and then die fighting over them, but there have almost always been more leftover. Meanwhile the food which there is so little of is just left sitting there. I saw you working some magic during that simulation Dante & Val so feel free to correct me, but why not rush for the food and whatever weapons can be had without fighting and then just peace out?"

"Didn't even think about it till now but if the food is gone at the start then that is one more thing that everyone else has to focus on during the games, meanwhile so long as you've got it you can worry about more important things. I'm not worried about starving, just like to see the others feel what it is like to live a day or two in district 11."

Gwen groaned, stretching her arms across the table to lay her head down.
"Booooooring. Bored. What if there's something blocking us from the cornucopia? What if there is no cornucopia? Same old, same old. Bored. So bored. Can we play truth or dare? Ooo! Spin the bottle! Seven minutes in heaven?"

Gwen's antics made Holly smile again. I'm glad we have someone so seemingly lighthearted in our little group.
"I agree, there's no way we know what we'll find. The rules are different this year. The Peacekeepers are the only thing we know about. I still think we should all group up. Pick someone to use as a reference point. Run for cover, heading towards them and plan when we have more information. We have enough people good at finding food... most likely. We'll be okay for a while."
Holly snorted, still tipsy she found herself very amusing and decided to share the joke.
"I volunteer as Homing Beacon!"

Holly settled down again to wait for an answer. "Demetri, Dante - You've been invited to take the armory with me, Eloise and I'm not sure who the fifth is, we can grab what we each need with no confrontation and either part ways with them or stick together for a little while. Are you in?"
