Day 1

[Quinn Watson]

Quinn ran into the group of Dolan, Natalya, and Alys and his face lite up.

"You guys!--" Then his facial expression became worried after seeing some doubt in Dolan's face.

"...came?" He then nodded towards Alys as he spoke to Dolan.

"She's with you, right? All I know is that I didn't invite that guy." He nodded towards Michelangelo.

"But, he's welcome to join if you guys are up for it. I don't really know him, though." Quinn then sighed and his body slumped over.

"Well, I mean, if you guys wanna talk this way, I can offer to help by protecting us. Though, I'm pretty sure you've seen it all before because I didn't even know I was good at that kind of stuff until I came here. You know, like protecting our camp with traps and camouflaging you guys and our campsite." Then he flashed a smile.

"I...I can come up with good ideas!" He pointed to his brain and continued to smile at them worriedly.

[Alys Stout]

Alys looked at Quinn quizzically. "Ya, I'm with him. A bit odd starting an alliance out here, but I'm open to it if Dolan is. Dolan and I also set excellent traps, if we work together we'll be more efficient. I can defend us without any weapons, and I'm pretty stealthy."

She looked at Michaelangelo and then to Quinn "did you extend him an invitation to this alliance?"

[Quinn Watson]

Quinn looks sheepishly at the ground.

"Sorry, I actually didn't know Dolan was in an alliance...I didn't mean to complicate your alliance or anything. I just invited some people I liked to meet up with me here and I thought whoever came would be whoever came and we could travel together. That's why Natalya is here, though I don't know Michaelangelo really at all. He just came here by chance. The only ones who didn't come were Talia and Derrin." Quinn looks up at Alys.

"Though, I'm glad you're here." Quinn smiled

"I guess what I'm asking you would be...if it's alright if me and Natalya travel with you and Dolan."

[Alys Stout]

Alys smiled back, "That's fine with me. We ought to formulate a plan. What shall be done with Michaelangelo?"

[Dolan Tawt]

After a moments hesitation, Dolan ran up and gave Quinn a big hug.

"Thank god you survived, I was worried, William got himself killed out there." Dolan tears up a little bit.

"I know he and I weren't teamed up, but damn it I was hoping he would make it longer than that, so much for our rivalry." Dolan kicks some dirt.

"Oh yeah! Quinn this is Alys, she's from my district. Alys look at this." Dolan pulls out the picture that Quinn had drawn for him on the roof of the two of them flying out of the arena with jet packs. He then flipped it around to show the big "SE" written into the back of it.

"Glad we could make it, and yeah Quinn of course you and Natalya are gonna join up with us! Just like you I'm a master at trapping, and Alys is too! So we can make our camp a- plus fuckin' secure!" Dolan said a bit too excitedly.

"Hear that sponsors? No one is gonna get near us!" Dolan taunted.

Then his face darkened at the thought of what to do with Michael. He turned to Quinn and Alys and Natalya and lowered his voice.

"I know it sucks, but we can't add everyone to our group, I'm willing to include him if you guys want, but I don't know anything about this guy. I can't fight unless I have a weapon so I might spend some of my sponsor points to get a melee weapon."

[Alys Stout]

Alys looked at the picture that had previously been described to her. "That's impressive Quinn!" She then continued on "I agree with Dolan, we can't just add everyone we meet. We can take him: 4 on 1 no problem! We also have the advantage that no one knows the four if us are in an alliance. I'm a master at unarmed combat, if at least three of us could fight, we'd have it made. Dolan- it's probably wise for you to get a Melee weapon from the sponsors- if not now, you'll have to fight eventually. Lets carefully plan our next moves- deal with Michaelangelo first? We also should set traps, and find food. I tried to learn to gather, but didn't get far. Do we have an master or skilled hunters or fathers among us?"

[Natalya Aeglaeca]

*Natalya smiles at Quinn, "I promised I would be here." Thanks for letting me join.

After a moment of listening to the conversation Natalya says, "I agree with Alys and Dolan. I think we should keep it smaller. I am ok at hunting but I am a master at survival and nu-armed combat so I can be of help in that way. I also have a backpack with some bread and a sleeping bag. I have to double check. I do think that we shouldn't linger here to long. I have a feeling that the game maker will be forcing us together and more of these platforms will sink and taken over by those monsters. He will want to force us together."

*I have three pieces of bread, sleeping bag, and flash light

[Dolan Tawt]

Dolan nodded, although he looked sad.

"I think that if we take care of Michael now, that will buy us some time from the game makers trying to mess with us. I can't fight until I get a weapon, so unless Quinn can fist fight too, it looks like it's up to you ladies to do the deed." Dolan looks down at the ground.

"I'm gonna see what I can milk out of the sponsors, if I get a weapon ill be more useful, but it's not a sure thing, I get what I get from them... No matter what it is though it should be helpful to us."

Dolan looks at Natalya "It's good to have you with us, sorry we haven't gotten to know you yet, but we'll have a chance... hopefully..."

[Quinn Watson]

Quinn returns Dolan's hug and thanks Alys for her compliments.

"Everything sounds good to me! Though," Quinn's face darkens, "i've never...killed anyone before. I wouldn't even know how. I can try to help, but I doubt I'll be any use." He sighs and his expression lightens on a different topic.

"though, I actually thought of a cool way we could get food! I Think that with my stealth and speed, we might just be able to steal some from other tributes." Quinn smiled.

[Dolan Tawt]

Dolan grinned at Quinn "Dude, I am SO glad you and I are on the same team. Once I get a weapon, I'm stealthy enough to come with you when you steal, wouldn't want you to get caught stealing by yourself, especially since most of the others are moving in a pack." Dolan nodded.

"I'm pretty widespread with my capabilities, I can somewhat hunt, and I'm pretty good at making fires and shelter, but I think with all of us being so good at trapping, food wont be an issue too much."

Dolan's brow creases "I've never killed anyone either, but me and Quinn can try and... hold him down I guess." Dolan looks a little panicked and worried. "I guess we should get to it, everyone ready? Let's get 'im."

[Natalya Aeglaeca]

Natalya looks at Dolan. "I hope so to. You all seem like great people." I hope I can get to know you guys better. I think if we take down him together it will be our best shot. If anything happens to me you guys can have my backpack.

[Alys Stout]

"Alright, it's a plan. Natalya and I will attack with whatever help Quinn can lend, anything will be appreciated. I know at least 3 of us can trap, let's have two agree to trap, giving us a bonus- I don't know if three doing the same thing is any better than two. Natalya- maybe you could hunt and or build us a fire- you are the only master of survival, so we need you for that! Dolan and I are keen to find Mountains- we attack better in the mountains, we could set up base there. I can scout to try and find mountains."

[Quinn Watson]

Oh yeah! I have 3 bread in my back pack, so we're all set for today! I also have repellant spray and uhh I'd have to check the other. We can also probably help natalya hunt with our traps.

[Alys Stout]

"Nice! I have a backpack containing a smoke bomb, blow darts, and medicine. I'm glad to hear you have bread, we'll repay you with whatever we catch in traps. If Natalya makes a fire, we can cook our meat."

OOC- Is there any bonus for three or more doing the same thing compared to two?

OOC: Modification: New action: Sandbag. The Sandbag action will effectively increase the elevation of the island (really it is just delaying the flooding). Each time Sandbag is used it increases the elevation of the island by 1. The maximum elevation an island can have at any time is 4.

District 3 tributes may Sandbag once per day as a free action.

[Natalya Aeglaeca]

Ok I will Hunt (with the use of a trap?), build fire, and rest? We should decide what to do if we encounter the other tribute, and we should also keep on the move.

OOC: since fight is an auto option to we just say attack and name Michelangelo?

[Dolan Tawt]

OOC: I think attacking is a separate action from our daily stuff, we are supposed to add a description of our strategy when we fight.

"Me and Quinn can try and hold him down like I said, we should get this over with now if we can. I don't have anything on me to give you if I do die, but just know that if I do one of you guys better win." Dolan said.

"Ok let me go see if I can't get some sponsor support here."

ooc: also do we need to rest if we haven't lost any hp?

"Let's hope I get something good.." Dolan proceeds to dance around waving his arms asking for something from his sponsors.

"C'mon I need something to fight with!"

Dolan looks around a moment and his eye widen as he looks out across their island into the open and at some of the other islands in view.

"They're sinking into the ocean..." Dolan gasps as the thought of the toad monster that ate Titus and Sophie jumps into his head.

"We have to keep this island from sinking too far or we are going to find some unpleasant things in the water, I'm sure of it... And I'm not that great a swimmer." Dolan says with a bit of panic in his voice.

OOC- Natalya, I don't think fighting counts as an action, so lets both indicate we'll fight Michaelangelo. I think we only need to rest if you're down HP, otherwise you're good.

"The Island sinking is quite concerning. Are we planning to stay here? If so, we several of us ought to use a sandbag action."

[Natalya Aeglaeca]

I think we shouldn't plan on staying here to long. We should use a sandbag, but we should plan on maybe moving tomorrow. I can either hunt twice (I am not very good--by using traps--otherwise I don't have a weapon) or I could hunt once and also use a sandbag. I have a feeling these games are going to be quick. We should not be in one place for long. Alys, you should check out what the other islands look like while scouting) I wonder if they are all sinking at different rates.

Natalya- I think what's most important us for you to build fire. Perhaps you could hunt once and use a sandbag. I will stealth, scout, and trap. This way I can get a glimpse of the other islands without being seen. Anyone with extra actions should sandbag. We'll have plenty of food tomorrow. Thank you so much Natalya and Quinn for providing bread (OOC don't forget to indicate this in your submission). Natalya and Quinn, we fight Michaelangelo tomorrow, we can do it! I know he is proficient in ranged weapons, a master at that. Lets try to ambush him since We're all fighting unarmed. I don't know whether or not he got a weapon, and it's better to be safe.
