Nelson spent most of the time where the Market cleared out just looking for things someone might have left behind. It was refreshing to go from how many people were there to almost no one. Even with the Peacekeeper roaming around, it was already quieter and easier for Nelson to hide and get himself together. He knew he was eventually going to have to take cover but for now, finally, he was safer than he'd felt in a long time.

Sharlot spotted the boy from the hospital who had played doctor/patient with her. He had eaten a lot of paper. He must have been really hungry. She hoped he had found some food since they last met. Sharlot waved and smiled warmly. It was great to finally see a familiar face. Sharlot had kept the prescription notepad to make communication easier. She wrote Nelson another prescription: "You feeling any better yet?"

Nelson laughed, seeing Sharlot come into the picture, "Oh MAN it's you! I can't believe it! You wouldn't believe the time I've had after we met. What? Oh yeah, yeah. I'm really good." he grinned, flashing a thumbs up. "Been scavenging, running, hiding. Not a whole lot. There were so many people here yesterday. It's good you came on a dead day though."
He glanced around before handing her back her prescription pad.

Wallace emerged from his solitude next to the console to find Sharlot and Nelson. "So it's just us now huh?" Wallace smiled sadly. "It had been so crowded here recently... I kind of miss it now." wallace wandered over to the two of them. "How are you Sharlot? It's been a while" Wallace shuffled his feet a bit. " I havent been anywhere but this market this whole time... But since Demetri's death everyone left me here... I couldn't leave this area undefended..."

"Yep. everyone raced to the Watchtower. IT's good to have room for my elbows. It was getting a bit crowded in the Market and I think we can get a lot more supplies when it's just us. Plus it's just too much going on and ugh." Nelson waved his hands. "You've just been here? Let me tell you, the hospital treated me pretty well. Lots of morphling and the occasional good conversation. When you ignore the smell of hospital, it's downright pleasant. Here it smells like rotting food and people who haven't washed in about a week."
Nelson clapped his hands together, "All right, we should probably plan out our actions to ensure maximum badassery here. I think we should at least try and get the food because you can never have too much, especially if you guys decide to travel to different places. What else do you guys think we should do?"

Sharlot waved to Wallace. She hadn't seen him since their chess game in the training center. He had seemed like one of the more genuinely friendly tributes she had met in her time there. She was surprised to hear that Demetri had been killed. He seemed like the strong type. People must have ganged up on him.
"How did Demetri die?" Sharlot wrote and held up her notepad for the boys to see.
Then she wrote another note. "I've been everywhere and I have to say the watchtower was most useful for gathering information. And thanks to helpful people like Nelson I know all but 6 tribute allegiances now. Have you guys learned anything lately? We could swap intel."

Nelson winked and grinned, "well I did try my best. Even though you did interrupt my scavenging, but I'll forgive that." He rummaged around his backpack and began gnawing on the stale bread he had. "Now, about exchanging intel, wanna do it the same as we did last time? You do one then I do one and so on." Nelson waved his hand.
Nelson leaned in towards Sharlot, that Peacekeeper has a mighty wicked shot, Demetri got the bad end of it. If we're to have success here, I think we have to take out the Peacekeeper and hoard the food. The more ready we are when more people show up, the better it is for us, agreed?"
"also, if you need morphling, the time to speak up for it is now."
Nelson whispered to Wallace, "Listen. Just let me do the talking here, I have a plan. She's like Dante and the other betrayed and we just have to play along so she doesn't expect our moves, okay?" "I need you to attack the Peacekeeper, okay? Maybe hack if you can."
Cal Mensen: I believe you edit the post. You can either rewhisper to everyone (too much work), or copy and paste the whispers into public text. I'd imagine you'd want to give some sort of symbol or notation that they were once whispers.

Cal Mensen: Same here, part of me wants to allocate some time aside to building a new one in a different setting. It'd be easier to devote time to if there's a shard interest.
