A peacekeeper patrols through the streets, searching for escaped tributes.
The Peacekeeper - has 4 HP - is subject to normal attack rules - will use one spy action and one attack action per day on random players - will favor attacking any rebels he discovers - follows normal movement rules - can radio communicate with other non-player peacekeepers

Gwen woke with the feeling that something was wrong. She got up and looked around. She froze when she spotted a peacekeeper roaming the streets. She hid before they could see her and snuck back to the others. She shook the others awake, making sure to cover their mouths so they wouldn't make a sounds. She quickly put a finger to hers to indicate them to be quiet. "There's a peacekeeper a couple streets over. What should we do?" "What was that about Dante yesterday?"

Nelson kind of crept into the market, making sure to keep his head up in case anything decided to go south real quick. He already missed the high expanse the watchtower gave him because now he could only see one street of the Market. He'd heard a radio for a Peacekeeper but had yet to see one, so he just continues on, looking for signs of anyone the two had mentioned in the Watchtower the day before. He ducked behind a stand when he saw a larger group huddled in the night. Huh. That seemed odd. Nelson approached them slowly with his hands up to indicate he has no intention of attacking.

Wallace was startled awake by Gwen's shaking. He sat up quickly at the news, and instinctively reached toward the console. "I don't know..." Wallace whispered. "I'm not much for fighting, but if he finds us here, we wont have much a choice but to..." Wallace drew a finger across his neck. "There are others here too we need tow orry about now as well." Wallace's eyes lowered at the approach of Nelson.

Nelson gave a small wave, "um, hi." He wagged his fingers in an attempt to appear less menacing, "I just got here--what stands do you recommend?" Nelson could understand the apprehension; there was a lot going on to throw a new person in. "I'm looking for Gwen or Wallace or Eloise or...shit what were the other names...ANYWAY. I'm Nelson. I was in the Watchtower with Cal and Wren yesterday and they sent me here. Wren spied on me so if you're unsure about my sparkling demeanor and charming personality, talk to him. Well--he's still at the watchtower but--can you point me in the direction of like--someone I mentioned."

Minerva watched quietly... standing close enough to the large group to be seen by them, but hopefully separated enough where if the Peacekeeper showed up... she'd be able to run.
"Hi guys. I don't suppose any of you have a rocket launcher for this guy, do you?"

Nelson, Minerva, Gwen and Wallace were joined by Dante as he crouched beside them; peering at the distant peacekeeper. "Hard to see from here, but I'd guess he's holding a Peacekeeper S.F. issue P90. It's an automatic weapon made since before the Dark Days; very rare to see one in person!" The excitable tribute crept around a miraculously untouched sculpture of Vester Lombard near the Market's courtyard and turned back to the other tributes. Patrolling past the Market's densely packed streets, a tattered letterboard near a bar catches the Peacekeeper's eye. It displays the price for Snow's Private Reserve at $155.37000 per bottle. It seems absurd, along with the jumbled clusters of letters below. The letters in 'Straight-Bowline Cider' had been rearranged to create 'triBS', with the letters 'h e' underneath. Still further down, the 'w' had been turned over to create more letters: 'd m' and 'r o'. Near the bottom of the letterboard, the 'C' and 'l' had been reversed into a crude letter 'D' with an 'e' behind it. Dante hoped the Peacekeeper would notice the message, knowing that any advantage was useful in a warzone. (OOC, see tributeforums.proboards.com/thread/303/bar-lounge for the origin of Bowline Cider.) "Maybe he'll go past without seeing us, no telling if there are more coming though." Squinting toward the oblivious soldier, Dante noticed the radio on his belt. "If he lets others know we're here, the market's going to be closed in a hurry! I'm for "

"Well," Val said hopping down from a low ledge beside the group, "even if he does spy on me I doubt he'll attack seeing as my peacekeeper credentials will check out." She looked around the small group, "I know some of you are confirmed rebels though and if he notices you I'm worried about what might happen..." "Hmm..." Valeria mumbled while thinking to herself, "Anybody wanna volunteer to take him out?" "Wallace, Gwen..." Val whispered, "what's your take on the situation?"
"From what I can gather neither of you are good fighters and," she glanced over at the peacekeeper, "I don't want to blow my cover yet. If I attack him I'll be marked and I'd rather save my double-agent-ness for an emergency if the shit hits the fan."

Wallace shook his head. "I'm no good in a fight, but if we want this to go well, we may to need to bum rush him together."

Nelson shrugged, "I can be all right in a fight. If I have some backup."

Val's stomach gurgled, "living on scavenged scraps of food is definitely not making my body happy," she thought. "So are we attacking him or not," she asked, "I can't hack anyway but on the other hand I really don't want to tip my hand to the peacekeepers this early..." "Gwen," Val whispered noting the terse conversation going on around her, "I feel like I'm missing out on a hushed conversation here."
She frowned, "you're the only person that has whispered me today."
"I get why the y don't trust me." she concluded, "but I don't want to be left behind either."

"I'm leaving that decision to your capable hands, but I just need the OK." Nelson reassured, chancing a glance to the Watchtower. He wasn't sure if this new area was a good decision but for now, he had to work for it. "But if someone else backs me up, I will."
