"Alright, looks like its time to take my second card!" _rTbkChid11+10Val looked down at the total of her cards, "Ok I'm gonna stay." She grinned, "have we decided what we're playing for yet?" ((OOC: I realized that I TOTALLY set this up wrong. I should have rolled a 21 sided dice the first round.))"I've never gotten to see her in the state you did," Val grinned, "but one of us got luckier than the other depending on how you look at it."
She shrugged and laughed, "Its subjective based on what you want outta life I guess."
"I think Gwen may be right...Wren might just be as simple as he lets on. However...Eloise still worries me..." d11+10

Cal looks down at her cards, waits for Gwen to take her next card. "Hmmm..." "I don't know what to think of Eloise. She was resistant to me joining the rebels this whole time, my interaction with her didn't get very far."
Cal rubs the bracelet on his arm, smiling to himself.
"It's alright, what we had... Gwen showed me how to live. I don't blame her for finding someone else, I actually had found something with Wren myself. I guess I now have three friends to fight for."
He raised an eyebrow, looking to Gwen.
"I have an idea for some stakes, if you guys are interested. We got an evening ahead of us and not a lot of bunk space. If Val wins, I'll take first watch and leave you guys to some privacy. If I win, Val takes the first watch. If Gwen wins... wild card. She sets the terms, as long as all parties are agreed."
OOC: I got to grab some sleep, I can respond again in the morning.

"Huh." Cal realized in blackjack, everyone should start with two cards. He deals one to himself facedown. C7V2saKz1d11+7 "Based on my observations, Wallace is a tribute and damn good at hacking. He's an asset worth protecting if we have the chance. As for Sharlot, she is indeed a Peacekeeper, who made a hack attempt on our point. I believe her attentions are clear."
He swings around a small metal chain, letting it slow to a halt, revealing a metallic tongue on the end. He grins.

As the hum of the tower shifts and the firewalls fall, Cal smiles at the results of their combined efforts. He looks up at the tributes still in the watchtower, beginning with Deo. "How'd reconnaisance go? Anyone we should watch out for from the Hospital?" Next, Sharlot. "I'm happy to say that your friend Wallace is a true rebel, can you confirm?" He whispers to Val and Gwen.
OOC: Sorry guys, I'm visiting my grandfather in the hospital later tonight, so my ability to RP will be hindered. I can't post anymore whispers after work and before I return home, but I should be able to read yours. So, bit of an info dump ahead.
IC: "Val, what could you make of Demetri? Are we comfortable with our friends at the market?"
He smiles at Gwen, glad to have her on the rebel cause.
"Thanks for hacking the point, you've definitely won this day for us." "I think we need to figure out what to do next. We need to pass on our information to our allies at the Market, but I don't believe my word is worth much to most of them. Having Wren there would help, but there's no guarantee he'll stick around if I move there."
"My thinking is one of you should make the trip to the market, stock up on food and keep our other half informed. If Wren is still there when you make it, can you please ask him to head to the Watchtower where I'll be waiting for him on Day 3? After that whichever one of you stuck around can rejoin the other at the Market."
He eyes Sharlot, who has remained quiet since today's events.
"What do we do about Sharlot? For the time being I'm going to pretend I don't know what she is, don't want to spook her into doing something rash. For both Sharlot and our positioning for Day 2, I'll follow whatever lead you guys come up with." He turns his attention to the group in general. "Good job all, lets keep our momentum going. Ideas of what to do next?"

Likewise I can confirm that Demetri is in fact a tribute and he's said on several occasions that he will fight by anyone's side until they cross him," she paused, "Which is good because based on my observations he can fight and scavenge like a mad man!" Val thought on everything for a moment, "So there are very good odds that at least 80% of the people in the Market are our allies. If you account for us and assuming Dante IS a tribute the odds of there being peacekeepers in the Hospital is pretty high." She looked over at Deo, "I'll wait to hear your report on the Hospital but if it seems like they have some strong peacekeepers over there it might be in our best interests to move to the Market." Valeria sighed, "There are just so many unknowns... Wren, Eloise, and Holly are still wild cards but we seem pretty certain that Wren and Holly are tributes. The only thing I'd be worried about in moving to the market is that it might be suddenly flooded with armed peacekeepers coming from the Armory." "So," she said at last, "I'll wait on Deo and Sharlot's advice but at this point it almost seems like it would be safer just to stand our ground and see what the people in the Market do..." Whatever we do the three of us should move as one unit. I'm curious to see how Deo will report on his spying outcomes because that might give us some insight into his allegiance. That said, as long as we Sharlot stays here and we don't see her and Deo talking or possibly whispering we should be safe because we out number them.
Remember Cal, we're much more useful to them alive. If the peacekeepers kill us then they are suddenly much more out numbered by the rebels.
Like I said we should wait to see what Sharlot and Deo say before we make our move.
We still have a couple of hours to make our move but in my opinion the two best options are to either stay here or all of us move to the Market.
- Market
Pros: Confirmed Allies and Food Cons: Possible influx of armed peacekeepers from the Armory
- Watch Tower:
Pros: We know the location and we can gather more information here. Any influx of peacekeepers would come from the hospital so most likely unarmed. Cons: No new point to hack and less chance of meeting up with Allies.
Thoughts?

Val yawned, "But this is boring..." "You never drew your second card Gwen," she grinned. Valeria looked around the room, "are you not playing Sharlot and Deo? ...It could be fun..." ((OOC: Sorry about the double post. I'm just bored and want to continue the RP)) The more I think about it the more I am in favor of moving to the Market. We know we have allies there and you two NEED food tomorrow. I Can't have you fainting from hunger...
So yeah, I'm still waiting on Deo and Sharlot but my suggestion is that we move to the Market. No matter what we need to move together and depending on how Deo responds we may be able to bring him in to our little group.
But I'm at a loss as to what to do about Sharlot
What are your thoughts?
((OOC: Gwen and Cal let me know you can see this. Cal if you can't post because of the hospital just follow our lead.))

Cal looks up at Sharlot and Deo and waves them over. "Please, join in. We've got room for more." Can't hurt to wait on more information, can't rush judgement. OOC: Not feeling to great, not going to risk Grandpa's health.
"I'm leaning towards the Market myself. I'm a little worried that Sharlot will recapture the Watchtower while we are out, but if we make it look like we're staying she may choose to leave on her own accord, especially if she thinks we're on to her."
He looks down towards the Market, considering the current tributes.
"I'm worried that whoever's at the Armory may attack the Market for food. As much as I enjoy the vantage point from here, I wouldn't want whoevers left down there to be sitting ducks. Food is more important than vision at this point."
Looks between Gwen and Val.
"So, we're agreeing to stick together then?"

"I wonder why they're so quiet...", Val thought to herself, "I hope I didn't annoy them...""Well Cal," she shot back, "Looks like we're gonna have to find something to wager." Val looked around the room, "I actually wouldn't mind holing up around here another day." She smiled, "Its cozy!" "Buuut..." she added, "I guess we'll wait to hear from the others." "Sticking together for sure," she smiled at Gwen and Cal.
"Maybe we can bring Deo along depending on how he announces his findings on the Hospital..." she ventured, "but I DO think we should wait til the last moment to move to the MARKET just in hopes that we get to see what Sharlot does first."
She glanced around the room, "So we'll move to the market as close to 10:50 as possible."
"Just," she added, "Don't get left behind. Make sure we stick together."
((OOC: As always let me know you saw this.))

Thinking it over, Cal starts to dig around in his possessions. He presents two items to offer. "I've got an Adrenaline Shot and a Token. I don't know if anyone else is game, but if these interest you, lets see what you got to offer." Cal looks around to the gathered tributes, looking for more participants or some meaningful dialogue. "I'm good to go for the Market, agree we leave as close to the deadline as we can. I really wish Gwen would jump in at some point. Good to know that she's in on the plan."
Cal awaits patiently, getting a bit antsy.
"So... how did you and Gwen get together?"
OOC: Can see it, Val.

OOC: Sorry for repeat posts, just a slow evening so far. Cal looks at Val, waiting for her to offer something for the game. "I realize these aren't the best items, but I figured it would make the game interesting." "Sorry guys, I had just thought of two things. What if anyone from the Market comes here? We're on the way to the hospital, and a medical supply run could prove valuable in case the Market is attacked and we need to counterattack. Also, Wren was shot on our way out. There's a good chance he might be passing through..."
He quickly looks over at Sharlot.
"I'm nervous if she sticks around. The night I left for the Watchtower, she was on me within two minutes. I'm pretty sure she's expecting a fake out, and if she's left here alone, this point could turn over to the Peacekeepers."
He takes a deep breath.
"I wouldn't mind holding the fort here. There's likely to be food and that baton still laying around, I'd like to be equipped for trouble if it comes from either direction. Thoughts?"

Val looked at her possessions. Short of a personal item she had nothing to bet. "I don't really have anything to bet..." she replied, "unless you count the clothes on my back..." Val frowned, "I don't know... While I agree there is some merit in sticking around part of me thinks it might be best to stock up on food, meet up with the tributes at the market, and possibly stage a raid on the armory."
"Besides," she grinned, "I'm much better with a gun than a baton."
"Also," she added, "It occurs to me that if we let Sharlot go to the market by herself she could tell them she spied on us or that we have turned on the alliance and they'd be none the wiser."
"I'd much rather we meet up with allies tomorrow," she finished, "than be attacked by FORMER allies the next two days..."
Val looked torn, "If you REALLY want to stay I'll stay by your side but highly suggest we move to the market tomorrow."

(OOC: Sorry, I'll play catch up. I tend to go to bed a bit earlier than you two it looks like and my work schedule tends to be a bit hectic.) "Well, I don't really have anything to offer for a bet other than a good time," Gwen grinned and winked. jlYZdX_r1d10+10"I'm getting pretty hungry so a trip to the market sounds okay, but I'm also willing to stay here and hold the fort. Without knowing who is going where our intention of meeting up with someone in the market is 50/50. There are going to be risks either way." Gwen sighed. "I was hoping I was right about Sharlot."

Cal shrugged, scooping his items back into his pockets. He grinned. "That could be interesting, and of course we'd all have to match. I'm afraid I left the jumpsuit from the training days back at the facility, so my regular clothes will have to do." Cal sighs, listening to her words.
"I think you're right that we need those food supplies, and the market would give us a chance to meet up with our allies. That said, I'm also afraid we may put a strain on the supplies at the market place and leave valuables here to be collected."
He looks between Val and Gwen, eyes lost in thought.
"Someone needs to go to the Market, if for nothing else to meet up with allies and have a better chance of restocking. I would like to stay here and let you two go, but if we have to stick together, lets go to the Market tomorrow. The baton won't be as much use if I've already succumbed to starvation, anyways."
His gaze lingers towards the west.
"If I miss Wren, I hope he understands."
OOC: It's okay Gwen, I'll hold off and let you and Val catch up. I'll be here until the deadline.

"Well..." she mumbled, "guess I owe someone something." "Alright," Val said with a sense of finality, "All three of us are moving to the Market Place at 10:50."
"I already have four days worth of food," she added, "So if you're worried about stressing the supplies don't worry because I can always share food if I end up with a surplus."
She grinned, "last chance to chicken out. If I don't see all three of you move with tonight I may begin to think I can't trust ya."
A frown crept across her face, "and I really don't want to have to think that..."

Gwen lets out a low whistle, "Well, shit. Does that mean I won?" She looks between Cal and Val, tapping a finger on her chin, "What to do, what to do..." "If you think you can hold your own and really want to stay here, Cal, I would be more than hesitant to say yes, but it is your decision. I would prefer to stick together. Maybe we can leave a note somewhere? We check in on the Marketplace and then meet here the next day?"

"Don't be TOO cruel to us Gwen," Val said through a grin. She poked Gwen playfully, "I don't know what that mind of yours is capable of." "I'm with Gwen..." Val ventured, " I'd be really hesitant to let you stay behind Ghost."
"As far as I can tell," she finished, "our plan is still for the three of us to head to the Market together."

On a more interesting note, Ghost," the new nickname for Cal was strange for her, but she would learn to say it more often since Cal seemed to like it. "You and Wren, eh? What's going on there?" Cal nods his head. "I've an idea of what's there, it all depends on her mood. Busting out of a training facility and hacking the point, she might need to let off some steam." Cal frowns, his options laid in front of him. He doesn't want to lose these new friends, breaking the trust they've built.
"Wren will be crushed if I'm not there. I don't know what he'll do, and I fear for his safety. If he makes his way to the Hospital alone, I don't know if he'll be coming back."
His face is cast downward.
"Please, if you need to keep an eye on us, one of you go to the market and the other keep an eye on me and Wren. This will give you an opportunity to make sure Wren's okay, and if so, I can assist him on his journey. If not... I'll take care of him myself."
He looks up into their eyes.
"I don't want to lose any of you, not like this."

"If so I hope for your sake that Wren DOES come this way..." she added, "There's no guarantee that he will."
"I'll wait to make sure you move first Gwen," she said turning to her friend, "and when you do I'll follow."
Valeria's face clouded a little, "I just hope you choose to follow us Cal because this could end up being the last time we see you..."

Val looked up at Deo who seemed rather nonplused about the cards. "he looks a lot different from the kid enjoying a plate of bacon a day ago..." she thought to herself. "Well," she smiled, "I just wanted to keep our spirits up." This time Val whispered to ONLY Gwen, "Cal is making me worry all of a sudden..."
She looked around, "I really REALLY want to believe he's on our side and my gut is telling me he is but I just want us to be careful."
Valeria leaned in closer, "and by the way something about what Deo just said made me seriously doubt him. We told us he was spying on the Hospital but he won't share any of the info."
"Look," she finished, "I AM a peacekeeper but I hope you believe me on where I stand on the rebellion."

Cal listened to Gwen's words, and nodded. "Not the worst, I'll take it." "Gwen, I think I love him. If he ends up being at the Market, please send him my way. Go and spy on him first though, can't hurt to check."
He frowns, looking to Val.
"You and Gwen have each other, and I'm glad for that. I can't let Wren die in all this chaos, not if I had a chance to. I'll make sure he gets what he needs, try and meet you guys again at the Market on Day 5. You have my same promise I gave Gwen and Wren, I will do everything I can to protect you all."
He tries his best to put on a small smile, but falters.
"Go and keep the Accord alive. I'll return as fast as I can. Fall back to the Watchtower if you need to, we can regroup then."
Cal has no more words, he hopes he can live up to the lofty expectations they set just hours ago.
