By sneaking through a gap in the service elevator Val was able to make her way into this now abandoned loading dock.
They probably used the big rolling doors in the back before the tributes arrived to bring over all the stuff the Capitol was throwing at them but now it was dead silent and would be until next year.
The main room she was in was warm but slightly damp. Not uncomfortably so but enough to be noticeable. Off to the sides were several other rooms including what looked like an office or two, a supply room for overstock of dropped off loads, and even a small nurses office.
When she peaked her head into the nurses office though she discovered it was quite barren. There was still a bed in here and one of those hanging curtains but the only medical supplies left were gauze and tongue depressors.
There were more rooms off to the back but she had important party business to attend to now!
Val pulled a folding table out from behind a plank of wood propped up against the wall and set up the pilfered liquor bottles on it waiting for the party to start again.

Holly stumbled in behind Valeria. Still more than a little woozy she watched as Val moved around the room surveying what was available and setting things up for the others. Looking around herself she found found a few bottles of water.
Must have been left here by the workers. Don't mind if I do.
Popping one open and taking a long, grateful drink she settled down at the table now covered in pilfered liquors.

It was a tight squeeze to get through the gap in the service elevator. Demetri was just about six and a half feet tall and broad shouldered.
After nearly tumbling into the room, Demetri looked back at the gap. "Well, I think I might be permanently stuck in here now!" He spotted the girls sitting at a folding table. "Look who we have here! It's Blue and the Career! I guess I could be stuck with worse company!" He winked. "How's it going, girls? This is a cute little hideout! Who's ready for round 2?"

"Beardly!" Val exclaimed, "I thought I'd lost you on my way from the roof..."
"Dante should be right behind me and I think Gwen is coming..." she added, "I mean she was the only other that didn't keel over."
Val had trouble fitting through the gap herself and she was only 5'10". She had NO clue how Demetri had managed to fit through... "Maybe his entire body is 90% beard and he just sorta compresses into a hair ball..." she thought drunkenly.
She added a little fire to her voice, "I mean Dante BETTER be coming. He's the one that has to steal the smokes!"
Demetri, Make sure to post in the Under the Stairs thread I tagged you in if you wouldn't mind.

Gwendolyn wandered into the room full of chatter. She grabbed a bottle of water from Holly and drank a few gulps before setting it down for others to partake in it. "Good to see everyone made it. Sorry I'm late. Had to stop and take a pee break."

Holly moaned a vague hello to the boys when they entered. That hotel bed was so comfortable, not like the ones at home.
Hearing her name or at least a nickname a few times got her attention.
"Being a Career? Just peachy. It's all work and glory. You're well housed, well fed and you grow up with each other your whole lives. Life's a dream. You know... if you're one of the ones that actually starts on time I guess." She managed to curb rolling her eyes too much. She was tired, and the alcohol had hit her hard that night. No need to sound so bitter.

Gwen laughed in surprise at Val's sudden show of dance ability. She was a bit worried since it started off rough, but it ended in a good flourish.
"Hahaha! That was wonderful, Val!" Gwen gave Val a peck on the lips, "I haven't had anyone lead me that well in a long time! Thank you for that!" she giggled excitedly and beamed at Val. She noticed Holly asking the boys to dance, "Hopefully they won't be spoil sports. It would be interesting to see if they can dance."
Cal Mensen: I believe you edit the post. You can either rewhisper to everyone (too much work), or copy and paste the whispers into public text. I'd imagine you'd want to give some sort of symbol or notation that they were once whispers.

Cal Mensen: Same here, part of me wants to allocate some time aside to building a new one in a different setting. It'd be easier to devote time to if there's a shard interest.
