Kimber walked into the alcove half expecting everyone to be there despite the fact there hasn't been a meeting scheduled. She sat down anyways, thinking it would be a good place to sit and think for a while. Only a couple more days until they all entered the arena. The alliance was shaky and it had Kimber a bit worried. They had yet to even talk about the cornucopia. She was fine going in on her own, but she had grown to like those in the alliance. If only a little. She wanted to know where things stood. She knew everyone could take care of themselves, but a part of her wanted to know that they were going to be fine. Maybe she should just go. She sat and debated leaving.

A pile of books in the room shifted and the old musty books tumbled to the found revealing a mass of red hair.
A final book fell off of the like and smacked the red ball of string with a resounding "thunk". "Ehh wha-? Jaden make sure you protect Kimber abs Mal. Dave you're with me...you poisoned the weapons with those herbs right? Good. I'll serve as a distraction lets just get through this together I have a promise to keep.." came the voice of District One's girl, "and what? You guys got me a unicorn? Oh you shouldn't have!"
She rolled over slightly and another book found its way to hit her in the head. "I'm up I'm up!" She said popping out of the pile of books sheets with sketches, maps, and diagrams fell from her as she stood up. "Oh hi Kimber!" She said aloud. "I heard you did really well at the private demonstrations," She smiled. "I must have fallen asleep putting together these plans last night," she said brushing the dust of age old books off of her.
"I hadn't even called the meeting yet!" She said as she started picking up the papers on the floor all around her, "but I wouldn't expect anything less from you!"

Kimber just looked over at Millie with some amusement and said, "Sure. You didn't do so bad yourself in the demonstrations."

David shuffles in looking as tired as usual.
"I have been thinking about our situation." David exclaims going into a yawn.
"Well... maybe this joining alliance thing isn't such a bad idea." David sits in his usual spot. He notices Millie laying in a pile of books.
"Oh, Millie! Hello, it looks like you slept about as well as I did. Ha, a-hm." David smiles to himself.
"So, maybe we can get another alliance to join us during the cornucopia. If the numbers are right we can attack the other tributes one on one. Or something of some sort. We then disband into our original alliances, move in opposite directions for 2 days and then we mercilessly kill other young people for the entertainment of our wise and elder leaders."
David unscrews his little vial.
"We can work out the details, but I think we can do it. Millie, do you think Decimus would be willing to join our two alliances for the cornucopia? We can make a list of our strengths and a partial plan."
David dropped a couple drops onto his tongue from his vial. He breaths.
"So that, or we could talk about another plan. One of the things we'll have to worry about is where we're placed. And that's going to fuck a whole bunch of shit up cause we can only be so fast and people are going to be coming after us and people are going to be dying and running and weapons and, uh... We're going to need to... Uh... a plan... I need to lye down."
David moves to the floor. He breaths.
"I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm just a little dizzy. I'll be good in a minute or two." David forces a smile. He continues to breath.

Jaden helped pick up some of the books that had fallen on top of Millie. "I'm with David," he said. "With some help I think we can take the cornucopia. I know you guys weren't really down for my other plan, but how about this? I think some tributes might agree to a cornucopia-only alliance. Maybe we can make a one day treaty with non-allied tributes where we promise to not fight each other on the first day. I think any single tribute would agree to having 5 less attackers. So how about those other tributes you were wanting to recruit Millie?"

Kimber looked a bit uneasy at the thought of fighting. "My strong suit isn't really fighting. I would rather just grab the nearest thing and run. It would also depend on the alliance we join with. They could just as easily turn on us in the middle of taking the cornucopia. Plus there is still a lot of tributes that we know nothing about. Would you really risk one of our lives just so we could get a couple weapons? I'm not a fighter and no offense David, but you look like one punch could take you down." Kimber shrugged, "Just some thoughts."

"Haha! I see your concern Kimber, but I'm sure my body would rather be alive than dead. When the time comes, I'll be able to handle myself." David grins at Kimber. "Hand to hand is one of my strengths."
David is now getting up to sit on the books again.
"As for your other concerns about joining alliances. I agree that this puts us in somewhat of a vulnerable position, but just as Millie trusts us, we must trust her information. If she can talk to Decimus and feel that his allience is willing to work together, than we can try to meet with them and discuss a plan.
As far as Jaden's idea of taking on non allianced tributes for a day, that seems like a good plan. But we invite them into this room. No split rooms. How to contact them, I don't know yet, but I'm sure we can think of something. We could try to have them with us before we meet with the other alliance in order to seem larger, and then we could have them choose which alliance they would like to join afterwards if Decimus's group is alright with that."
David looks around.
"Kimber brought up another good point. Do we stay and fight for the cornucopia, or do we get supplies and run?"

"Well," Millie said standing up sending a mother book tumbling, "Last year half of the tributes died at the cornucopia alone." "One of the last alliances alive were a group of three that had run away together immediately when the games began."
"Honestly I think our best plan is to fun to whatever is right in front of us and if anyone else is running towards us we make a break for it to a rendezvous point that we decide on ahead of time if any of you are wanting to avoid fighting I don't want to force you to do setting against your better judgement so head to the rendezvous spot immediately. If there is only one person who wants to run I'll accompany them so I can start to use my talents to set up a temporary base which will be stealthed and I can pick off anybody who happens to be following you with a surprise attack."
Millie paused for a second, "I like the idea of aligning us with non aligned players more than another guild. Ie been watching some of them and they have literally not left their rooms except for larger events. It will make us look bigger and we have a better chance of surviving if it looks like we have numbers. Then we can decide what to do with them after. I suggest making it look like we are all breaking off to do chores to help us get set up for the rest of the game and then the core group and anyone we really like from the newbies can meet with us at the secondary location. The rest we'll leave behind. I don't advocate just killing them but if they so much as sneak up on us the main priority is protecting those we care about. Each other."
"Alright," Millie says looking excited, "I'll Wrote up the battle plans final version tonight and lost it before tomorrow morning. Sometime around 6pm. look over it because we need it finalized by ten tonight. Tomorrow I'll bring in the unaligned so we'll need to bury this conversation and the true battle plans so write them done. I'll put up another battle plan tomorrow with the safeguards to protect us from "allies" that try to kill us."
"If there are any questions submit them by 6pm and be sure to tell me if you want to fight in the cornucopia to get an item or get safely away so we maintain our numbers,"
"I'll be busy for a little bit now. I haw to go away and write up the plan but I'll be back at 6:00 or 6:30 to answer any questions and post the plan." "Ok," she said smiling, "be sure to be there!"

"I will definitely grab something. A long range weapon if it's near to my start point or at least a smaller item on the outer rim. We can't invite the independents into the group tomorrow because our private room will be shut down at noon, so they won't have time to see the plan. We need to get the plan set up and all the members included as soon as possible. And just so we know everyone is on board, make sure you all respond to the plan tonight to confirm you know where to meet."

Mallory wandered in, her skin still a noticeable shade of green. She had been bedridden only 24 hours ago, but luckily the Game's doctors had worked their magic and she had begun to feel better already.
"Anyone in here?"

"Mallory! Where have you been? You haven't stopped by the alliance room in days, you missed the interviews... are you okay?" Jaden touches her chin and gently tilts her head up, examining the color of her face. "You don't look so good. David, do you have a remedy for this?"

Mallory managed a slight smile at Jaden's concern. "I'm fine, I was just a little under the weather." A wave of nausea overtakes her and she stumbles into a chair.
"Can we just talk strategy please? I just want to get back into it."

Millie runs into the room red and clearly out of breath. "Oh thank god you're all here. I was afraid that you had all made another alliance without me."
She stopped to breathe and stood up straight papers and folders fluttered to the ground. "Oh crap!" She started trying to put them back together.
"Sorry," she panted, "I tried to sneak in to the game makers office to check the cornucopia set up and it may not have gone as well as I thought it would." "But," she smiled, "the didn't see my face so we should be fine."
"Ok," she said at last shuffling the papers, "just give me fifteen minutes to put this on te board and you'll see the plan!"

Millie stepped away from the board after writing on it for some time. There were some figures and crude maps but the majority of it was a written explanation. It read:
Ok so first and foremost our biggest issue tomorrow will be the fact that our locations are randomized. The first thing you should do is look around to see where other team members are. When you find your team members signal them as quickly before the mad dash to the items begins. If you see an item you want or need and it is within your reach give your teammates a thumbs up if there is any team mate near you that you also see giving you a thumbs up make sure to work together to survive.
If you do not see anything you want, deem it too risky or just want to not involve yourself. Give a thumbs down. Thumbs down teammates should try to stick together as closely as possible.
Lastly as to what direction to head afterwards we are going to try to move to the west. We will set up a preliminary headquarters two spaces to the west of the cornucopia. If at the end of two days we have not all reconvened the secondary location is to spaces north and one to the east of the cornucopia that will be two zones north and two zones east of the primary location. Wait in that space only if you have no way of making it to location one.
If you truly are absent from both locations our goal will be to set up camp in the north east corner of the arena so move there eventually.
This strategy is much more about surviving than it is fighting because our real offensive will be our defensive as we try to build a defendable base. Once we are all together the second phase will begin.
I will discuss that when we are all on the battlefield and together. You never know whose ears might be listening even now. So lets keep some secrets.
So overall plan: 1. a.) If you intend to head in (Thumbs up) 1. b.) If you intend to run (thumbs down) 2.)Look around at your teammates to see what they are doing and stick together with those doing similar. ((Millie looks around the area to find her teammates if any have their thumbs up she will stick close to them and fight together to recover this item)) 3a.) try your best to meet up at two spaces west of the cornucopia. 3b.) if you cannot make it there meet up on day 3 two spaces north and one space east of the cornucopia. 3c.) if you still haven't met up with the the head to the north east corner of the arena.
Ok. Now stick together and survive? Any questions?

Now seated and less dizzy, Mallory listened intently to Millie's plan. Mallory didn't have a head for strategy, but the plan seemed awfully complicated.
"I'm worried about this plan. It's not bad, its just....what if everyone just starts running in different directions at the start? We could get picked off before we even have a chance to meet up!"

"Yes, it's a bit complicated. And I'm not sure it's realistic to get to the northeast corner in just one day if we start out going west. I feel like we'd run into every other tribute doing that. Let's just say we're all going West and figure it out from there."

((Simple summary at the bottom))
"The reason it's complicated is because running through the middle of the cornucopia to head west if you're in the east is suicide. But if that remains complicated then yes it's easier we all move west. The plan isn't to make it to the north east corner in one day it was to meet there eventually.
If its easier for everyone to stick together if we just move two spaces in one direction then WHEN YOU LEAVE THE CORNUCOPIA EVERYBODY MOVE TWO ZONES TO THE NORTH EAST WHETHER YOU'RE RUNNING OR PICKING UP SOMETHING FIRST. IF YOU GET SEPARATED MEET AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER AS SOON AS YOU CAN. WHICH MAY BE A FEW DAYS BUT WE WILL TRY TO BE THERE UNTIL DAY FIVE. IF YOU DON'T MAKE IT THERE BY THEN REMEMBER THIS: (this is the one complicated part of this plan) WE WILL LEAVE THE CORNER BUT LEAVE SYMBOLS TO MARK WHAT DIRECTION WE WENT. (Write this down) the letter "P" = north the letter "R" = north east the letter "I" = east the letter "M" = south east the letter "R" = south the letter "O" = south west the letter "S" = west the letter "E" = north west
These are only to be used if we are separated.
That's much less complicated. And the hardest thing to remember is how to mark which way we're going. Look for the mark at the center of each zone.
1. Go two zones northeast from the cornucopia.
2. Keep Heading North East the next day with anyone else from our team until you reach the corner.
3. Once you reach the corner wait one day for anyone else.
4. After one day move as a team. Making your own decisions as a team.
5. Leave the symbols to mark your direction. (Primrose north going clockwise)
