In her mad attempts to hack the terminals and make a final stand for the Peacekeepers, Sharlot lost sight of the hovercraft above. She had just broken through the final layer of security when she heard the whirring down the block. Through the empty street the hovercraft had a direct line of sight on her. It paused for just a moment for its scanner to identify her as one of the missing tributes, then lock on and fire.
Sharlot was never in it for anyone else, not even the Peacekeepers. She had conned and used everyone, even her friends, to get ahead. She was no better than her father, who had manipulated her into this whole mess. But in the end she knew she was getting what she deserved. She was bested by a ragtag group of kids who knew nothing of strategy, but won with teamwork and comraderie. They had beat her at her own game, and for that she gave them her respect.
The rockets hit the ground at Sharlot's feet and fire and cobblestone erupted around her. For the second and last time, Sharlot was silenced.
Cal Mensen: I believe you edit the post. You can either rewhisper to everyone (too much work), or copy and paste the whispers into public text. I'd imagine you'd want to give some sort of symbol or notation that they were once whispers.

Cal Mensen: Same here, part of me wants to allocate some time aside to building a new one in a different setting. It'd be easier to devote time to if there's a shard interest.
