Turning to Wren, he brings him in for a hug. He gives him a small smile as he looks into his eyes. "I aim to keep us alive, and to finish what we all started. I'd like this war to end tomorrow."
Cal check his person for any additional items, finds that he still has his P90, but with only one round left in it. He places it on the table, leaving it for Eloise.
"If you have the room for it, that will give you two shots. Don't have to worry about me, I'm sure Wren would be happy to lend me his Peacekeeper baton if we run into trouble."
He thinks on Eloise's point, remembering back to her original plan. With Reese's suggestion, it could be altered.
"What if you were to accompany Reese to the supply depot? Could increase both of your odds of surviving, and if both our groups' plans don't work, you could always take the Supply Depot under rebel control. This could create some insurance to end this war on our terms."
Cal waits on Thomas's feedback, not looking to have a repeat of yesterday's events.

"I'll be honest, I want to stay with the numbers - I'm worried there will be another type of attack that requires numbers. And I would like to stay with Cal, as he now knows he can trust me and he's gotta be willing to help me out after I helped him out in a big way"

"I think that me going with Reese makes sense. I'm just a little worried about pods or something, but I think it might be safe since we killed a mutation from there."

Cal smiled, put a hand on Thomas's shoulder.
"Thank you, man. I won't forgot that, and I'd be happy if you'd stay with us here."
EDIT: Cal looks to Eloise, nodding at her response. "Thanks again, Eloise. I don't know if I'll see you again after today. Stay alive, and give them hell."
Cal takes a seat on the counter, meeting eyes with each of them.
"Is this it then? Anyone have anymore thoughts, ideas? Advice?"

"So Cal, just to carify, are we heading to the watchtower, or staying here?"
He turned his attention to another issue. "Who are the known (bad) peacekeepers? Harlie and Minerva I know about- but who else is alive?"

"Advice? Cal, if we win tomorrow, take Val, and run like hell."

"That's probably not bad advice! I don't know how Wren would would feel about that. Maybe he'll join them.
Eloise- good luck to you- you're a force to be reckoned with- stay strong!"

"Thomas, we're sticking around here. I think Holly's team has the Watchtower under wraps, we'll do our part here."
Cal turns to Eloise, nods grimy.
"Understood."

Wren spoke up. "Cal, you know I'm staying with you. Til death. But preferably, throughout life." Wren smiled.
"Thomas, I'd like to try and improve upon my reputation here. I know I haven't seemed like the best person since I've been here...mostly my own doing as I tried to give Cal a chance to look better after his mistakes in the tower, but I hope you'll give me another shot. I promise I'm at least halfway decent. Millie gave us the alcove, after all. She must have seen something in us..." Wren thought back to his training days, with Millie and Eloise in the alcove. I just wish Sharlot had turned out better... "Thomas, I'm not certain if Sharlot is of concern anymore. But I do know Minerva and Harlie are out there, somewhere. I believe that's all that's left. Sydney is like Cal and Valeria."
He turned to Eloise. "And I'm sorry little sis, but that's the worst advice I've heard. We're going to get that damn pardon, even if I have to die in the process. Cal, Val, and Sydney have nothing to worry about. I believe in Millie. I believe in a brighter future, and a peaceful Panem. I won't let them down. But if this is goodbye..." Wren hugged Eloise. "Thank you. Thanks for being part of my crazy war-family. Stay safe, little sis." Wren kissed her head.

"Wren, I'd love to get to see a better side of you. I guess for me, actions speak louder than words. I'm sure whatever happened before the games began was great- but I wasn't a part of that. And I don't know what happened in the tower, I just know about what I've seen- and I look forward to getting to see this other side of you that you speak of! I don't hold anything against you, I just felt more comfortable giving the morphling to Cal at this point. But it ended up working out, because that's what you wanted it for anyway!"

Wren smiled at Thomas. "Thank you for giving it to him. I was just worried no one would, because of well...what he is, I guess. Whenever I would bring up the pardon before, people would immediately shut it down, and he's always wanted to throw himself in danger to help the Accord. But, he's pretty useful to use alive as well!" Wren laughed and punched Cal's arm playfully.
"And I guess the only action you have to go off of so far is my deceit. And, I might as well tell you, Cal was playing mind games with Deo in the tower a few days back. Deo asked if Holly and I were running the show for the rebels and Cal agreed, which put a huge target on our backs. So we were pissed. But, I love Cal and I understood it was a mistake. So, I forgave him, for like the third time and then I came here hoping to let him shine and doing anything I had to, to keep him alive and well-liked. So, maybe that action speaks to you. I dunno.
And... I've spent so many days leading that I guess I wasn't prepared to meet another alpha personality, so I think to some degree, Reese's forwardness kinda messed with my head. I felt useless, so I became more useless. Sorry about that..."

Wren turned to Reese Oberron. "I'm sorry we met on such rough terms. But thank you for all that you've done. I have a favor to ask...could you just keep an eye on Eloise for me? Since I can't be with her, I'd like to know someone strong is looking out for her. Not that she needs it, because she's a warrior, but...I think you know what I mean. It'd just be a comfort, to me." Wren pulled Reese in for a hug. "And I'm sorry about the morphling. Thomas was put in a rough situation. I hope you're able to scrape by, somehow. You deserve it."

Thomas considered everything Wren had to say. "I don't hold anything against you personally. I just felt like Cal had done the most for the team, and bedsides, I've known him the longest. I like how he tries to get everyone to get along, and puts others first."
He turned to Reese, "I wish I could have gotten more morphling so that I didn't have to make such a tough decision. I just followed my heart on how to use it."
"I just hope that tomorrow goes alright! Hopefully some more rebels show up here."
He then turned to Cal "You know, you never did tell me what made you turn away from being a peacekeeper...."

"Thanks Wren, and I think it will be Eloise looking after me. She's been good luck for me thus far. Before I leave though does anyone else need a weapon? I've no use for two of them, on that note... I hate to ask but Thomas Windsnip any chance you could spare that recording device you've been carrying around? Also if ANYONE can even spare one food and still get by tomorrow please send it my way, it will likely make the difference between life and death for me." Her shoulders slumped, "I get that I'm taking a big chance here... but chances are really all I've got this far, luckily in that case I'll have Eloise with me, not sure that it makes any sense for anyone else to tag along with us but it sure wouldn't hurt either." "I have either a shotgun or a rifle either of which I can spare, just let me know if you don't have something to protect yourself already. Just to be clear, we're hoping here that we run into opposition at the depot and that things go our way."

Thomas considered Reese's request, wanted to help, but not sure if it was the right thing for him this time. "Reese, the recording device allows me to level my spy level to the same as yours. I came into these games a horrible spy, after talking with others, I was at least not disadvantaged but then I got the recording device and it put me to where I'm at now and where you're at. I think I should hold on to it this time, I'm really sorry. At least this way we are more even prepared. I don't have any extra food either, I hope you can find some at the supply depot. Good luck Reese." "If there is another spy check, I am up against Cal and Wren, who both have +2 to spy, so I'm already at a disadvantage. I'd like to think that they would look out for me, but as we've seen from Wren, he can be a bit selfish and I don't fully trust that he would put my interests above those of Cal or himself."

Cal steps up to Reese, raising a hand.
"I gave your escort my last weapon, I'd appreciate anything you could spare. Good luck Reese, stay safe."
He turns to Thomas and smiles. "I fell in love with two rebels. Never had much of a choice after that."

"I guess love is as good of a reason as any. But how did that all work? I can't even get myself interested in one person!" I think I might be asexual.... "And how did you end up switching from being with Gwen to being with Wren. Dude. Kinda funny that their names rhyme - I guess you have a type!"

Cal sighs, trying to figure a sufficient answer while remaining tasteful. He gives an apologetic look to Wren.
"I didn't so much move from Gwen to Wren so much as give Gwen up. I fell for them at the same time, one actually causing the other. I couldn't live in a world where they would have to die for me to live. And the names... Well that was unexpected."

"Well...Thomas, love is a silly thing. I forget how much younger you are. You seem much older. But, yes. Our names rhyme. It's pretty funny, actually. I think I might fall asleep soon, but feel free to keep chatting, you two. Sleep well."
Wren had heard the Gwen story enough times, although he was interested in hearing Cal's description of their own story...He curled up and listened as much as he could, until he fell asleep.

I forget how much younger you are. You seem much older. "Yeah, I feel older now. I mean, I'm just a kid... but it doesn't really feel like that anymore." He stretched out on one of the hospital beds. "Anyway, It's nice that you were both able to make so many good friends, it must make the games just a little easier."

"Well fellas, it was nice knowing you. Feel like I'm going out the same way I came, but at least I've got Eloise by my side so can't really say that. Scrounging is what I do. With any luck we'll meet again." Feel like I've got more to lose than you at this point, but that's perfectly reasonable. You can only really trust what you know and at this point that's only yourself so I understand, I don't think they'd stab you in the back after you just saved his life but you never know.
