Well, here we are, at the end of things, thought Lartius glumly. He knew there was no way to survive today, but he had to try anyway. First, the issue of the hovercraft. He had to dodge it. To get a better picture on things,

Lartius didn't know what to do. Sharlot was dead. Minerva and Wallace were starving right next to him. Food was scarce, and he knew people would be coming to the market.
He knew that tomorrow death awaited him, but decided that he should die on his own terms. He would go to his home away from home in this war, the place he was most at peace.
Slowly, weakly, Lartius limped his way to the Watchtower.
