Holly stood gingerly, the Peacekeeper had gotten one good punch in and her ribs ached, she turned from Nelson's lifeless body to face Harlie. "We didn't attack you. What was important was working together to stay alive, Harlie. Minerva understood what we were doing here. I've run into her several times out here and done nothing to harm one another as we discussed. You, you were saved by all of the people here who chose not to attack you for everyone's survival. You don't have to worry about me, you have to worry about all of us. The Capitol isn't winning this war. And when it's over, you're going to be put down like all the others who fought against us and the oppression of the people of Panem - if we don't get to you first. You better run, and you'd better be fast." She turned to what was left of her group and continued.
"Looks like we need to spend some time planning our next move. I'm worried more pods will arrive tomorrow, I have no idea how many Vester had at his disposal, but based on the message we heard, its possible he deployed all that he had." She turned to Val, "I know you want to go back to meet Gwen in the Watchtower tomorrow. I was hoping we could stay two days and then meet. But I understand if you're going back today. I know you were unhappy with leaving her behind but I'm sure Gwen found what she needed. At the least she's with people who are protecting her."
Holly moved to the other side of the room, Nelson didn't deserve to die and his body made her more uncomfortable than most she'd encountered this week. You didn't deserve anything you got from them... Sitting down on a stool Holly waited for the others to speak, lost in thought.

Sydney stood up from the dirt and wiped a tear away before setting her jaw to a serious face, looking over at Harlie. "You better run. And you better run fast. Because so help me, I will come for you and it won't be pretty. I can at least sleep knowing that when I'm executed for being what I am, you'll be right next to me." Tearing a tarp from a stand down, she placed it over Nelson's dead body. "Gotta protect the stupid fluffy hair." "I don't want anyone going anywhere by themselves. Whether we stay here or go, I'm not about to let anyone go by themselves without at least knowing there's someone there to have your back. I have no dog in this fight, I'm just here to make sure as many Rebels survive as they can....god I wish I had my bow back to take her down for Nelson and why is that Peacekeeper still here." She knew she was getting emotional but fuck it, this was her first time seeing her friend die in front of her.
That whole mortality thing and all.

Wallace sat next to Nelsons limp body holding his left shoulder with his right hand, blood soaking his shirt and jacket that he wore. He looked around dumbly for a moment, not completely sure what had happened. "Wh-...What am.. Am I bleeding?" Wallace moved his hand away to stare at it, and found it painted with blood. He pushed the hair out of his eyes smearing some of his blood onto his forehead. The shock of being shot was beginning to wear off, and Wallace groaned at the pressure of his gunshot wound. He finally noticed Nelson laying next to him through his blurred eyesight. "What happened?" He whimpered as he tried to shake Nelson awake feebly. Sydney walked over and placed a tarp over his body and he stared at it in disbelief. Wallace tried to move his left arm and found it to be limp at his side. He could move his fingers slightly, but trying to lift his arm at all caused Wallace to cry out. "What... I don't..." Wallace stared at the ground he was sitting on, in a pool of his own and Nelsons blood.

"You really think you're going to survive this?" laughed Harlie. "The Capital is more powerful then you could ever imagine. This is only a small taste of it's might! I would watch yourselves if you try to follow me I have more where that came from." She said patting her sniper rifle.

Sydney raised one eyebrow in a steely stare as Harlie shouldered her sniper rifle. Tears threatened to fall as her voice wavered, her emotional barometer was suddenly veering south. "Survive this? Oh hell no I'm not surviving this. If I don't die out here, I'm gonna die by the oppostition anyways. We were always meant to die, man. In the Games, only one of us would have survived anyway. You actually think I'm not aware of that? I was in that, same as you. Vester doesn't care who you are or who you're with, we're all pawns to him. I wouldn't dare follow you anywhere. At least here I get to die with a little bit of dignity."

Holly glanced behind Syd and Harlie as they spoke, noticing Wallace still on the ground. "Wallace! I'm sorry with Nelson... I didn't realize you were hurt. We need to get you out of here." Helping him to his feet and over towards the chairs Holly spoke one final time to Harlie. "Hubris is always punished, Harlie." Sitting down with Wallace and gathering the other around her Holly spoke. "We need to decide where to go from here. We can all move back to the Watchtower. And meet up with Gwen, Cal and Wren as we discussed. That's my preference, or we can split up from here. Harlie is an issue, I've said this before... but sometimes these Peacekeepers mark themselves for death. Wherever she goes, she will need to be dealt with if all of our other needs are handled, and frankly, even if they're not."

Syd found herself quivering from...was it anger or fear? Or maybe it was both. Either way, she found herself slowly becoming unraveled. Once her sights set on Wallace, she wiped at her eyes and joined them. "I'll go with you guys to the Watchtower, there's nothing for us here. And if those pods are still activated, they may need our actions for that. There's nothing for us here anyways."

Val frowned, "We need to make sure we take as many points as possible so we can end this quickly."
"But," she said turning towards the watchtower in the distance, "We promised we'd go back there tomorrow."
Valeria knew she was being a bit selfish at the moment but, "I'm going to go back to the watchtower tonight. What do you guys think the best move is for all of us as a whole?" "Harlie," Val added, "you're aware you just painted a huge target on your back right?" She turned to Wallace, "We need to get you some help..."

Holly began to pack her things. Bad day. Very bad day."I think Harlie will run, Minerva only attacks when she has backup and the odds are in her favor. If me and Val or really any two of us head to the Watchtower, and the other two go to the Armory or stay - I think there's a good chance they will be ambushed. I think there's no avoiding it but there's safety in numbers. We need to go to the Watchtower unless someone wants to volunteer to stay here and maintain control or head to the Armory. I'm going back to the Watchtower. I told Gwen and Val they'd see each other again ... So, if we run into something unexpected I have to go with her for now."
